Wow! This book is truly a game changer. There are many great books and resources on explaining the various elements of prophetic ministry. However, Shawn does a masterful job of compiling years of teaching, experience, wisdom, biblical application, practical advice, and prophetic insight on what prophetic ministry and the office of the prophet means in this day and age. My heart was burning inside of me as I went through the pages. I really believe that this book and teaching sets a new precedent for the the hour in which we live for prophetic ministry. This new precedent Shawn sets in this book is not just “the latest and greatest” book on prophecy, it is a carefully woven compilation of biblical analysis and tested and proven practicals which if put into practice will help the body of Christ recapture the true essence of what the prophetic is to look like. I highly recommend this book to people that are interested in growing in a love-centered prophetic model as well as churches and marketplace ministries who are looking to create healthy prophetic systems and programs within their organizations. Thank you Shawn for this amazing revelatory book, I’m literally blown away and challenged to action!

I love Shawn. I love his teaching style and I love how he uses his own stories to illustrate the points that he makes. He is well seasoned and has been used in many ways and many settings and he has the heart of a teacher, like myself. This book is helpful and a great resource for those that are new to the prophetic and those who have been reading about the gift and exercising their prophetic gift for years.As a person myself who has written 6 books on the prophetic I am always impressed with people that have a simple and yet profound approach to the practice of the prophetic. Very detailed, written with a step by step perspective to gradually increase your knowledge of how the prophetic gift works and possible ways that you can grow in this area of your Christian walk. I particularly enjoyed the parts about remaining accountable and also focusing on a delivery of loving and encouraging words !!

I feel like for so long I've needed a practical book that helps me understand every element of the prophetic and this book really gave me insight and correction in areas where I simply did not understand. Highly recommend.

Shawn Bolz wrote this book perfectly. I’ve learned so much from this book

The title is a big ask. A modern interpretation and understanding of the prophets role, while honoring the history. This book does the impossible. Over the past 20 years I have 90% of the MAJOR books on the prophetic, and usually they say the same thing, and rarely do,they deal directly and practically with the office of the prophet. This book does that. I was blown away. Even though I would consider my theology on the prophetic modern, I realized my idea around mentoring was not. It was a great revelation.I want to thank Shawn Bolz for putting this important book out there. Currently there are only two book I would recommend on the officd of the prophets; this is one and John Sandfords book ‘The Elijah Task’ is the other. This is going to become a classic.

If you’ve never read a book relating to the prophetic, then this book is a good starting place. Otherwise there nothing really new in this book that hasn’t been written already. A real shame
