**Q: Does this support full 4k-uhd blu-ray discs or is 4k just in the name to make i show up on a search?**
A: Hi it did support blu-ray both reading and writing.

**Q: Having trouble playing dvds & 4k, is this just for standard blu-ray watching?**
A: Sorry never tried 4k, however always worked on DVD and Blu ray.

**Q: How fast is the writing/reading speed?**
A: It is quite fast I think worth the money

**Q: is this region locked???**
A: It is locked to region 2 but Can be changed up to 4 times

Up and running in minutes. Had no issue with Windows 10 recognising the drive, as some reviewers have noted. You do need two spare USB sockets, one of which needs to be powered. Was simple to update VLC media player to play blu-rays, so no need to buy additional software. Playback seems fine. I only bought this to play discs, so cannot comment on its writing ability. Slightly flimsy build - the open button could be a bit more responsive. Overall though does the job and reasonable for the price.

A BluRay player that does not play BluRay Discs in Windows 10^^.Had an extensive look online for appropriate drivers but none available......apparently there are issues with windows 10 and external BluRay Players at the moment.....caution required if proceeding with this purchase.Very Disappointed.
