The holster was EXACTLY as described. Perfect fit for the gun listed. Not an easy holster to find but this one exceeds expectations. Very good quality at a very reasonable price.

Great quality perfect fit and super comfortable

No question of quality of materials and workmanship. It's gorgeous. The paddle is lined with a soft rubber material that provides excellent grip and stability. The paddle is firm and holds the firearm close and easily be canted forward or rear as desired. The lack of a fifth star is because of rather poor retention. By design, this holster Is not intended to provide "combat" retention but it holds the firearm a little bit loose and has no tension adjustment screw. Still, I doubt under reasonable conditions my pistol would actually fall out of this holster. So, if you want an open-top paddle holster for your Browning 1911 .389 (or 22), I think you'll be quite happy.UPDATE 09-July-2017: After reading Badger Smith's review stating that this holster is for a full-size 1911, I slipped mine into it. He's right. Although the barrel protruded about a half-inch, it's a perfect fit. Still, I'm happy with this holster for my browning 1911 380 as I can't find another leather paddle holster for it. I'm going to try to dampen the inside with a water spray bottle let it dry and shrink it a little. I'm not not downgrading the stars since it is a beautiful holster just wis it was a slightly firmer fit. Thanks, Badger Smith!

Not much choice for holsters when it comes to the Browning 1911 380 but this one fits like a glove! Not sure what others have wined about but this one fits perfect! Made with good leather and quality! As for the Bonehead that said he thought it would have the Bianchi Stamp on it... you didn't buy a Bianchi cause Bianchi doesn't make one for this pistol... here's your sign. lol! . It’s taken me some time to find this holster. Beautiful leather and fits my Browning perfectly.

Purchased for Browning 1911 .380. Appears to be well made and is a good looking holster. I expect it to hold up well based on inspection. Pistol fits in holster just fine. Will recommend to friend with same weapon.

The holster is made of good quality leather and the stitching and finish are great.The reason for four stars and not five,is because this was not AMERICAN made and nowhere in description did it advise otherwise!
