Good product, but not perfect
I've used several products of this brand in various sizes, and overall they're quite good. The only real flaw is, like another reviewer noted, that the screws WILL rust if they get wet. It blows my mind that someone can design a product this well to be usable outdoors, and then ruin it by not using stainless-steel hardware. So if you intend to use this outdoors, just use different screws (many of these seem to use M4 size). My only other complaint is that there are no spec sheets for these that show all the dimensions. Yes, some of the product images (depending on which size you've selected) might have a few annotations, but not all. For instance, one of the photos shows the height of the stand-off molded into the bottom, but doesn't bother to show the distance between them. I design circuit boards and 3D-printed parts for these, and not having that information is a bit irritating. Also, I saw another reviewer mention needing to trim the gasket because it was too long. Well, the gasket is stretchy, so if you end up with extra, then you pulled on it too much while stuffing it into the groove (and you may have narrowed it too much to make a good seal in the end). My advice: be slow and meticulous, try not to let it stretch while you handle it, but also don't try to cram it in too much or it'll come up short at the end and leave a gap. If you have too much left over, or any size of a gap, then carefully pull it out and try again.Overall, these are good products for the price. If you need something with engineering grade spec sheets, I suggest looking for products from Bud Industries.

Used for a power distribution project for an Xmas display
A simple box, closed up with screws. Walls are pretty thick as this is intended to be waterproof and usable in all conditions.I did find the walls a little too thick to mount small 2.5mm output jacks, but a hot glue gun on the inside solved that. I got everything wired up and this box contains all of the wiring and allows for a very nice consolidation of power sources.

Perfect project box
I used this to protect a small wireless screen I needed mounted outside and under my RV. I used double sticky foam tape on the inside to cushion and make sure things didn't bounce around. So far the box is holding up well for a cheapy. I wouldn't trust it in the weather forever without first treating it with 303 protectant or armor all or something as I think the sunlight will play havoc on it.I sealed up around the edges with silicone and it hasn't leaked a drop. I drilled a hole in the back to pass the wires through and used a rubber gromet and more silicone to seal up that part and it worked.Overall, this is the best bang for your buck at this price level.I hope this helped!

Yes, it is waterproof
I used this enclosure to build a 4:1 Unun for my Rybakov vertical antenna knowing full well that it would be drenched every day during the summer by my sprinkler system. In spite of being within soaking distance of my irrigation system every day for three months straight, the interior remained dry as a bone and my station SWR never wavered. It's a great project box for my purposes and I can recommend it to others.

Plastic boxes
These are great if you're using them for electronics projects. Like I do. Great little boxes.
