Womens Eldoni Strapless Mini Dress Navy

The primary reason I deducted two stars is because I bought this dress for $85.00 (now $77.35) and I can't justify the price in my experience. Lovely dress, but there's nothing super special about it meriting the price. If it were half of what I paid for it, I would give it 5 stars, but for something that's primarily polyester and imported, I can't give a full 5-stars at this price. Ok, on sizing, be VERY mindful of your smallest limits. This brand tends to run extremely true to size (as in what we've always considered a size 2 to be - there's no budging on that with this dress). I ordered a size 2 and could BARELY zip it up (but I appreciate a tight fit so I'm ok, but it was a super close call). For reference, I am 5'1", somewhere between 110-120 pounds fit, wear a size 2-4 (up to 26") and have a smaller bust, but larger rib cage (34c/36b - I usually opt for 36 bc I don't like bras creating fake "bra fat" and who cares what the size says as long as it fits). Also, the bottom hemline is tight (as in you can break the threading if you try to hard to make it stretch) so when you move you can feel it instead of it contouring/stretching as you move. If you take large strides, you might have trouble with the bottom hemline. Here's what I recommend on sizing: if you have a smaller bust in general, you can likely get away with the size associated with your waist ". Here, I was recommended a size 2. The waist is listed as 25" which is the lower range for me, but the bust is listed as 32". I went ahead and ordered a 2 because I likely AM a 32" in my bust and this isn't a bra. I barely got away with it SO if you have a larger bust (cup), I recommend finding the associated size for your bust measurement at the highest " (so for me, I like 36" so I would have landed at a 6). If you have a smaller bust like me, find your higher bust " and then go one size down (so here, a 4 would have been the best choice - it reads 34" and 27" in the waist). The waist size is much more accommodating without being too large on this one than the bust size - it's going to be the bust which limits you. Lovely the navy, but just know it actually looks black when it's on.

Princess Polly sounds like a kids doll doesn’t it? Well that’s about how big this thing is! Bought this for my wife who is a size 4 and this couldn’t even cover her……let’s say rear end. Almost impossible to take a photo of how small it is without putting it on a person and I don’t think that photo would be accepted on Amazon ;). Very strange design, not horrible in quality, but looks like it should be a “girls” and not a “womens” dress.
