CSI - 82005007 - Viper - Insecticide - 16oz

The item ordered shipped and was received earlier than expected so I would say the turnaround time was excellent. This is my first time using this product and it's a first for me spraying my own home. The item has a very strong odor and you should use caution. Use Viper insecticide in ventilated areas only. If you spray inside your home make sure you allow it to dry completely if you have inside pets. Do not expose them to the odors and make sure you have Open windows/doors during the drying process. My solution mix was 2 tablespoons of Viper concentrate to a gallon of water which is extremely effective. The label says 1 tablespoon but my home has not been sprayed professionally in a very long time so the first application was double strength . I sprayed the entire perimeter of my home 4-25-15. Two hours after I completed the project rain came out of nowhere! I was a bit concerned and figured once the rains subsided the next day I would just go back out and reapply the solution. It rained for hours so I concluded that the pesticide I sprayed washed away. Early the next morning I got back on the job and to my amazement along the sides of my house were DEAD spiders, crickets, bugs etc. The insecticide was still working even after the rains! I didn't know how much of it was actually left so I reapplied anyway. When I was spraying the insecticide the very first time, everything that was hiding was flushed out and everything took off on a "dead" run from the insecticide which means the solution was mixed at the proper strength because that's the results you should see. On Monday, April 27 I went to spotcheck and the same thing occurred more dead bugs and crickets and spiders. I might also add that since all the crickets were knocked out it was extremely quiet and I got a good night sleep on Sunday night. I did not hear any in my yard just the ones in my next-door neighbors yard. Next, I found 4 active wasp nests and sprayed them. Within five minutes the nests were empty and all the wasps were dead. They won't be back. The product works exactly as it says it does, it is very effective. I will be ordering another bottle real soon just to have it on hand so that I can keep everything maintained around the house especially with summer around the corner. This stuff knocked out the lizards food supply so I should see a lot less of them too. I'm not a lizard fan. This product is approved by me a satisfied consumer and I highly recommended it. Isn't it nice for a change to buy something that actually works and you save money not having to call so-called professionals out that charge anywhere from $100 to $300? It’s really works, y’all see deference 1-2 weeks

Ok I bought this after I read all the reviews, and let me say thank God I did.this stuff is amazing,I burn wood and had ended up bringing roaches in the house.the next thing I know I see them in the living room and kitchen,I tried stuff from Lowe's and home depot,and they did nothing.when I received viper I mixed it immediately and sprayed exactly like it said,and man the next day I saw a few dead in the floor no e on the walls,by the third day nothing not a one to be seen.i have to say I was skeptical but now a believer

I live in NYC where everyone battles roaches at some point, but the German cockroach infestation in my kitchen got out of control. I knew exactly where they were: behind my kitchen cabinets above the sink, where all but one of the usual pesticides could reach them. And then that pesticide stopped working. And they really took over. To really give this stuff a chance, I cleared everything out of my kitchen: pots, pans, dishes, etc., and gave the whole kitchen a deep clean. Then I went to war. I followed the instructions and sprayed around the baseboards, etc., but I also sprayed up and down behind all my cabinets and into the void between my counter and fridge. Because it's mixed with water it does drip down the wall quite a bit, so I made sure to keep any dishes far away from it and clean the counters and sink before using those areas. It also does have a very strong smell, so I opened the windows and ran a fan every time I used it. I also recommend wearing a face mask and taking breaks to step into another room or outside if you need to, especially if you're doing a large area in one go. I sprayed every day for a week or two until I stopped seeing bugs, and began slowly moving my stuff back into the kitchen. In the process I made sure to wash every single item with hot water before putting it back in my clean cabinets. For about another week I kept spraying behind the cabinets, still careful to let it dry, and to clean off any food prep areas before using them. And I kept that window open! It's been a month and I have not seen a single cockroach in this apartment since. For New York, that is practically unheard of, no matter how clean you keep your kitchen & bathroom. Sometimes I even leave my dishes in the sink for a day or so without washing them immediately. You definitely have to follow the directions on this product and be careful to ventilate the area and not poison yourself along with the bugs. But by following the very good advice of other reviewers here, I was successful. I will be telling everyone I know that I finally found a pesticide that worked for me.

I found a 3 bedroom rental house at 650.00 per month in a beautiful rural neighborhood. The Problem-INFESTED with cockroaches. I mean, INFESTED. Had I known just how infested, I wouldn't have done it. It is an older home but the yard is big and beautiful. The refrigerator (major infestation) had to be removed, the door thresholds improved so there wasn't a gap to the outside. We did NOT bring any food into the house for three weeks until I was positive that the roaches were gone. Do people seriously live with this way (with roaches????). I researched and found two products, both of which we used. Let me caution you first though...this is PROFESSIONAL treatment so YOU NEED to be careful with it. I purchased a full body suit and face mask and used safety glasses to use to apply it. Do NOT use around pets, fish, food, or especially CHILREN. I then purchased a sprayer. I purchased three bottles of the stuff and two were more than enough for both outside and inside. The reason for the full body gear was that I wanted the ROACHES DEAD AND GONE. So I sprayed until the walls, floors, baseboards, shelving, exterior of the yard, was saturated. I mean I had this dripping from every corner because I refuse to even live with ONE cockroach. Under the shelves, we used Diatomacious Earth (often referred to as "DE") is an off white talc-like powder that is the fossilized remains of marine phytoplankton. When sprinkled on a bug that has an exoskeleton (such as bed bugs, ants or fleas) it gets caught between their little exoskeleton joints. As they move, the diatomaceous earth acts like razor blades and cuts them up. But it doesn't hurt mammals. So, between the two products...the roaches were dead within one week and 8 months later, haven't seen one. I sprayed this month, which was harder with furniture in the house. The smell of the spray will linger for two hours or so. COVER your fish tanks! I pick up any dishes, cover the animal food and water and leave right after spraying it. You will be very thankful with this stuff. No more roaches!!! We spray the outside and the shed that we purchased with all the money we save on rent.The Diatomacious Earth is the perfect maintaince product because it is SAFE! Cockroaches go and tell their friends not to approach anywhere in the vicinity of your property! A+++++++++++++ rating for this product! But please heed to safety warnings!

I believe in this product! I recommend it to homeowners who wish to assist in pest control both inside and outside the home. It is very potent. It must be worn with a mask when sprayed. After it's used, I highly recommend leaving the inside of your home for a couple hours. I would not recommend having pets around the areas that are being sprayed. I use this product once per month to maintain control of mosquitoes and critters. Highly recommended.
