I use my facial oil first, then the foundation and it goes on sooo nice and looks just beautiful. I do think it might be a bit drying without the facial oil but I do have dry skin to begin with and always use my facial oil. People with normal skin probably won't have any issues. This is definitely my favorite foundation and really the only one I'm using anymore because it just looks so nice and stays so well.
