Good Product for 2nd Fermentation.
I have the cheese maker and I'm very pleased with it, so I decided to buy the other products. I bought the 2nd fermentation bottle, along with the fermentation one and they both sit on the countertop without taking up too much room as the other glass containers I was using. They are well made and easy to use. Would definitely recommend this product.

Couldn't be Happier...
Lovely solid glass jar. great design and lid does what it should. Even my escaped little kefir cultures who know they will be drunk once they land in their are happy - and if they're happy, my insides are too!Great deep blue colour, compliments my smaller (culture brewing) orange-topped jar (of the same make) wonderfully (and I wasn't sure it would - I wanted a purple lid).

Good quality jar
If you are hooked on Kefir, this is the size of jar you need to buy, as anything else is just too small. If I could get a larger model, i would.

Right tool for the job
Perfect for milk kefir. I use for first and second fermentation as well as storage. I have several of these and rotate them. Having the right tool for the job always makes life easier.

Great product....it is a bit large for Kefir for me, though I can use it better for fermentation.

Missing vital part!
Jar arrived without the white lid! Please send a lid to me or I have to return it. It arrived with the blue cover and the fermentation clock. The white cover is missing! Distressing.

Not airtight
Don't waste your money. The bottles don't provide an airtight seal at all. I bought two at the same time, and neither fully seal. I'm an experienced kefir maker, and know that when a container fully seals for second stage fermentation of water kefir, it makes the kefir go fizzy. That doesn't happen with these bottles.I've tried various trouble shooting methods, and even double checked its not just an issue with my kefir grains. And it's not. As soon as I put them into another certain brands airtight bottle, I get a perfect second stage ferment. Seriously considering asking for a refund.
