Cutting Edge Craftsmanship! ✂️
The Special Hobby Ultra Smooth Saw Blades package includes five double-edge razor blades designed specifically for model builders. Each blade features 70 ultra-fine teeth per edge and is only .005 inches thick, ensuring the smoothest cuts in various materials like plastic, resin, wood, and even brass tubing. With a double-edged design, these blades offer twice the cutting life, making them an essential tool for precision crafting.

These are great for model building, AND they fit my JLC saw perfectly....
I bought these on the off-chance they would fit an existing saw handle I have. So there are five of these blades in the package. They are sold by Micro-Mark but are actually the CMK brand saw blades repackaged for Micro-Mark. Mine actually had the CMK logo on them. These are perfect for model building and especially working with resin or cutting kit parts for conversions. They are VERY thin, so you should saw slowly and with even pressure. As other people have posted, these stick together so you may think there are only 4 in the package (I did too...) but after a much closer examination I discovered 2 stuck together perfectly. Very thin so easy to miss 2 blades stuck together. Because these are so thin, you really don't lose as much material from the piece you are cutting, this makes them especially useful for doing plastic kit conversions where you may have to cut a piece off of a plastic kit part to replace with a resin or other piece. For those model builders that have a JLC resin razor saw, these fit it perfectly. They're basically identical to the blades that come with the JLC saw. So if you have the JLC handle you can skip buying the handle from Micro-Mark.Great blades, worth every penny.

These are 70-72 teeth. VERY sharp. In fact, the edges that don’t have teeth are band-aide required sharp. The teeth edges are perfect for cutting WWII plastic model canopies from their sprue/tree.I use the non-teeth edges, carefully, to remove excess plastic from the edges of canopies.Head UP! They are sneaky sharp! On all edges!! Keep your IPA, tape & paper towels handy. 😉

Nice razor saw--Get the Handle
I bought these to do a specific task and then realize it had more uses I hadn't thought of.The blades are about the size of an old Razor Blade and they are very sharp. I got these to cut panel lines into plastic models and some cutting of pieces. I didn't get the handle...I should have gotten the handle.I used the saw and discovered there was a flaw in my thinking. This isn't a saw for cutting out certain pieces of material. The blade is too wide to make corner cuts in small bits of plastic.Having said this, after I got the handle I've used the saw to cut pieces from resin products and it makes a nice clean cut with little effort. I have a razor saw I've had for forty plus years and This is a supplemental item for me. It is a good saw and for cutting small parts or those hard to get to pieces on sprue this will work great.I'd recommend you get the handle as well.

GOOD; BUT I ONLY GOT 4
A great little product. The serrated teeth are very, very fine. You can make cuts for instance in plastic with no real noticeable loss of material. I would give it 5 stars IF I had received 5 blades! Yes, I had 2 blades stuck together, got them separated and the total count was 4 blades. I thought maybe 2 are still stuck together. Put all blades in a stack and measured the thickness with my micrometer. Sure enough, 1 blade thickness short of what 5 blades should be. I think that this company should compensate or send the blades that are missing for all the people that did not receive 5. Other than being shorted, they are great.PS.... Perhaps those of us who were shorted at least 1 blade should get together and call ourselves "The Group of Fours" and contact the seller... after all, this is darn near $4.00 per blade!!

Sturdy, not like the super thin one I bought a few years back
Good price! Suggest you buy the handle too.

Excelente herramienta
