Yummy yummy fish flakes yum
These taste good. When I first tried them by themselves they tasted a bit 'meh' but then I had them with some egg fried rice and it really improved the flavour. If you have a dish that tastes a bit bad just put some of this on it :)

It's the only "treat" they don't get bored of. Even then, one packet goes a long way.

a little too fishy
Compare with bonito flakes I normally buy from Japan this product smells rather fishy. It may sound odd as both of them are made from fish but Katsuobushi smells very different from this. Although it can produce ok dashi stock, I don’t enjoy adding this to my soup or natto directly.
