Great grips!
These are great grips. I ordered the version with the horns, because I figured that style would give me more hand osition options. I won't restate the many other good reviews, but just wanted to add my 2 cents on two issues:Getting the old rubbery grips off was much easier than I expected, given the multiple other comments on the subject. I stumbled across and easy way to get them off. Stand with the old grip right in front of you and the handlebar extending away from you, perpendicular to you. Working on the grip closest to you, grab a hold of the end farthest from you and stretch it out, peeling it towards you onto itself, like a banana. Once it gets about 1/3 folded back, it reduces the friction enough that you can just wrap your hand around the grip and twist it off.Regarding installation, I was careful not to overtighten the set screws but felt they were right enough. When I went for my first ride, I discovered that the grip would still twist a little. It would not, however, slide down like it was going to come off, so I just kept going on my (31 mile) ride. I came to the conclusion that I liked the ability to twist it because depending upon the hand position, it is more comfortable in different positions. It doesn't twist on its own, just when I want to twist it, so I seem to have stumbled on just the right tension for the set screws. I have gone on several lengthy rides with it like this and have not changed that preference. When I ordered, they said delivery would be about 2 weeks. It was a couple of days later than they originally indicated, but that was ok with me. Maybe if I had known how much I was going to like these I would have been more irked at having to wait!

Love these grips
I had the more expensive alternative to this brand on my previous bike and decided to try these on my newest MTB. These were less than half the price of those other grips. The quality is impressive and they are very comfortable for longer rides. I have them tilted down (front) probably more than recommended, but that works for me. The left grip fastener kinda rubs my thumb a little, but not a deal breaker. Love the "horns" as they have saved my little fingers from getting smashed a few times already.

saved my hands
I got these grips for my Trikke (Not a tricycle, but an adult exercise, split-platform scooter- google Trikke). Because it is a true HPV (human powered vehicle) my hands grip the bar very hard, practically continuously, pushing the Trikke around, and especially up hill. My thumbs were hurting from the grip on the grips. Since they were wearing out I looked for some new ones. What I like about them is that they aren't just the old round grips. They have substance to them. They widen out so that I can push on the bars with my whole hand and the palm of my hand. I also sometimes use the horns to hold onto to give my hands a rest. Great innovation. Thanks.

Great Upgrade!
I have a Specialized Sirrus. It came with ergo grips, but they never felt quite right and the rubber started to break down. I got these and it's a world of difference. Way more comfortable with a good grip and comfort texture. Really easy to install. 5 Stars, would recommend.

They work good!
Very comfortable handgrips for bicycling! My hands usually go numb when I'm riding but these grips really do make a difference in stopping the numbness and feel so much better on my hands when riding. The only problem I had with them is installing them the end plugs were a little difficult getting them into the handlebars but other than that I really like them!

Great buffalo grips for a cheap price.
Ran these on a local cross country gravel ride and they did great. No slipping and the rubber is comfortable for long use. I would prefer they were all black instead of two tone.

Very comfortable
I'm getting older, and my wrist hurt while riding anything over 10 miles; the Meetlocks fixed the problem, now I routinely ride 20-25 miles without wrist pain. Love'em.

Wow!
Amazing! Didn’t realize these fatter more ergonomic grips would drastically help with down hill control and speed. No more soreness on hands from breaking. Improved on technical steep uphill climbs as well. Highly recommend. No joke!

Need to rest my hands
The new mirrors I have bought will fit in the end of the grips where the bung would have been. Now I have the best of both worlds,I can see behind me & and rest my hands when I get cramp.Note : fit mirror into grips first and drop the spacer sleeve onto the mirror grip from other end, then place grip onto handlebar.

Fitting sequence
Very much improved comfort giving alternate grip positions. Some people have had problems fitting the grips particularly getting them all the way on and then having trouble with fitting the end caps. This is what I did, you need Allen keys, unscrew the lock screws most of the way, slide the grip onto the bar and if you have a gap between the bar end and the grip get a flat screwdriver and gently lever the end slot open and push the grip on fully. Adjust the position of the grip to your preference and tighten the inner lock screw, fit the end cap BEFORE tightening the end lock, you may have to TAP the cap in with a hammer, then tighten the end lock screw. Go for a ride.

Exactly what I wanted
They fit well, are easy to install, and are very comfortable for long rides. My wrists are happy. My only challenge or concern is with the bungs. It took a bit of force and lubricant to get them all the way in. This was no problem. Once in, I realised 3 things:1) I didn't pre-tighten the nuts as mentioned in the instructions so I cannot tighten them down fully.2) There is no way I can figure out to remove the bungs to correct this. The bolt spins and there is nothing to grab on to and pull them out.3) On the right handle the bung does not sit flush with the grip on the bottom. It is a small difference (1mm) but not as nice and smooth as the right grip. Maybe I could address this if I could get the bungs out.Any tips would be appreciated. Overall I am happy.

Check the inside diameter of your bars!
End caps wouldn't fit inside my Titec Ringleader bars. Unfortunately tried some percussive maintenance before checking properly, rendering then un-returnable. Lesson learnt...

Felt nice but didn't fit
I'm going to start this by saying it didn't fit my bike. The handles went on, but the bits the lack the grips on didn't. This is entirely my fault as I didn't measure up, but in trying to "persuade" them onto my handles, I damaged them so didn't even try to send them back. That said, they felt great when i tried them in the lose position, so for that reason I'm going with 5 stars.Measure before purchasing!!
