Received shipment very fast & in good condition ; Excellant product & TOP quality , I have really enjoyed with added HOT sauce , lemon juice , horseradish & tomato paste , etc. ; just use your taste imagination , goes will with salads , rice or on whole grain products , even corn chips ; I dont need to avoid salt & dont have any HEALTH problems(NONE) & I dont want to GO THERE , but there is just to much ADDED SALT out there in(EXCESS) in almost every thing you buy that is PACKAGED/PROCESSED FOOD , BUYER BEWARE: ADDED SALT/EXCESS . IT can damage YOUR HEALTH (CUMULATIVE EFFECT), just because 1 can/serving dosent have Noticiable affect on YOU ,continuois use can GET YOU over an extended period of time .

These herring snacks are delicious and with no added salt, either!! Great snack with cheese and apples and Wasa crispbread!!

It is a Season smoked herring, but has 300 mg of sodium, not the advertised 160 mg of sodium. Also, although the advertised product is certified for Passover use by its OU P hechshur, this has only an OU geckshur.

These kippers are really good. They have the mild, slightly woody flavor resulting from the real smoking operation rather than liquid smoke flavoring.These are from Latvia, one of the Baltic nations. They are advertised as being from the Atlantic, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the catch came from the North Sea and/or Baltic.In any event, they are delicious and economically priced.

Most canned kippers these days are soft and swimming in liquid. Not these.Great Smoky flavor, salty enough despite being "no salt added" and most importantly, firm and not overly wet.Already ordered more, and will again.

I like the fact that they are NOT packaged in oil so they have a lighter taste. They are sustainably harvested. They are good for me. I love putting them in a breakfast sandwich.
