I love Gui Pi Tang (it's "tang" instead of "wan" because it's in pill form rather than granules or powder). The price is great and I'm so happy to find a good company able to sell this product here on Amazon. I just wish more of the Chinese herbal remedies were available here. I was buying a different brand of this formula from my acupuncturist but they kept running out of supply so I would miss a weeks worth of taking the formula (this is not optimal when taking herbal formulas!). Now, with 1000 tea pills I have a 38 day supply and can order again before I run out. In fact, I just received my second order. Before buying this formula I do recommend that you consult with a reputable / knowledgeable Chinese herbalist to make sure that the formula is what your body needs. If you do an online search for information on this formula, you'll get a better idea of how it may be of benefit to you.

I have frequent nosebleeds due to an inherited condition (HHT), and when I used Gui Pi for an unrelated ailment, the nosebleeds stopped. Since then I have turned to it whenever the nosebleeds become troublesome. Not scientifically verified, but for me it works. I prefer not to take it all the time since I don't know if the various ingredients have side effects. But when I need it, I'm glad to have it on hand.

It's always fun when you get a product and find out it "contains chemicals... known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm." - That's what the sticker said, and I'm thankful that CA passed laws to protect its citizenry, which in turn, protects us all.I also looked up information on the actual manufacturer out of China and their facility has been known to produce many products with heavy metals that are dangerous to the body. Thankfully I read the tiny print on the sticker, which was hidden underneath another larger sticker that I had to pull off in order to see it! That alone is a shady practice. There are enough harmful metals (being sprayed into the atmosphere, from pesticides on nearly all produce in the US, in all packaged foods, in drinks, in the water, etc), I certainly don't want to add more, directly into my digestive tract. We try to only consume whole, natural, organic foods and use the strongest water filtration you can get to obtain clean water. I don't want my children to have destroyed guts; mine was destroyed enough back when I was clueless, years ago. Thankfully Amazon was willing to issue a refund even though the seller has a no return policy.Always research what goes into your body before you put something in it (often it requires some "digging"), and stay safe everybody!

This brand of GUI Pi Wan is fantastic. The other brand I used, my acupuncturist told me to take 12 pills 3x a day. I took the same amount with this brand and it knocked me completely out. The other brand didn’t do that. I must take what this bottle recommends (8). Love that I get 1000 pills vs 200 as the other brand provided.

My acupuncturist recommended this for multiple purposes -- irregular menstrual cycle, mental fatigue and stress. Within the first dose, pure relaxation. The only problem is it says to take 8 at a time (they are teeny tiny) 3 times per day. That was way too much for me.. .made me too drowsy. Now I only take about 3 or 4 at a time and maybe once per day. It definitely improves mood and helps boost memory. The only thing I can't tell is that when it wears off I feel agitated but I'm not sure if it is a withdrawal type feeling or if I would have just been agitated anyway without it lol. My husband loves it.
