What's the thickest/deepest material this will hold? your numbers don't add up (5x0.157 vs. 3/8" is .785 or .375)

It can hold 3-5 pieces of 3/8in thick single ply cardboard (the cardboard gives allowing it to hold thicker material) or using standard corrugated plastic that comes in 4mm thickness it will hold 5 sheets. (the corrugated plastic doesn't give like cardboard) It maximum thickness it can hold is about 0.75 inch. with material that has no give, meaning it cannot be compressed. I hope this helps.

Are these rivets easly removable after installed also?\

I don’t know about “easy”, but they are removable. I use the claw end of a hammer and a tack puller to pull them apart.

How many pieces are in 1 order?

There are 300 pieces in 1 order/package, enough to make 150 connections. Each connection takes 2 pieces as they interlock together.

I can remove after installing them, although they do not hold together as tightly when reused. What methods do others use to remove?

Using the claw side of a hammer, pry bar, or car panel popper(worked the easiest). You can use a putty knife in a pinch.
