Rajnikanth, Shankar, A. R. Rahman; the dream trio can never go wrong, and this has been proved once again with Enthiran. Director Shankar's masterpiece Enthiran keeps the interest of the average Rajnikanth fan, as well as meets the expectations of the more sophisticated moviegoer. A R Rahman's music is awesome. Songs locations are exotic and certainly a visual treat. Whether it's the breezy Kadhal Anukkal, or the exotic Kilimajaro or even the final Arima Arima, the picturization is marvelous. Aishwarya looks glamorous and enchanting. Audience will enjoy watching her as much as Rajnikanth, if not more. This movie is path breaking in its sci-fi script and use of world-class special effects technology. Best movie I have ever seen in many decades! - This is an action/sci fi movie with subtitles that more than everything that could be imagined a "Bollywood" movie could have. The several musical interludes have beautiful music and they push along the storyline. The singing is perfect for this movie. The is very little English in the dialog and songs but the subtitles are easy to read. The storyline has a lot of humor in it and the serious part of the storyline is very plausible. I have watched this movie many times and see new things in it each time. The science fiction parts are extremely well done with action so realistic that you can almost believe that it all is real. I had seen a short clip of this movie several years ago and had hunted for the complete movie ever since and finally I had found it and it had everything I imagined it would be and much much more. "Endhiran" means "Robot" in English. Review: "ROBOT" Was an awesome and rather long movie. - I am not from India, but this movie is great. It's also 3 hours long! It's also not region locked or copy protected that I can see. The "Freeway Scene" of this movie popped up on Youtube some years ago and became notorious among my friends. I stumbled across this after talking to my Indian coworkers. The movie does feature English sub's. Sometimes the spelling of things is really bad, and there are little spots of English in the movie here and there as that's the culture. This is only the second Rajnikanth movie I have ever seen, but personally I like this one the most. Is it the over the top action or slap stick comedy? Maybe the terrible yet completely effective special effects? I dunno. This movie has a personality that's hard not to love. About the only parts we didn't like was the dance sequences in between major parts of the movie. Not because they were bad, in fact they seemed well made, but just not our thing. Good quality, good subtitles, good packaging. Appears genuine and not pirated.
