Good sound

My daughter has been playing for 3 years and was hoping that these would be made well enough to make sound. She said these are poorly made, the reeds need to be shaved farther down to produce quality sound. I returned these reeds and purchased a reed making set for her to make her own reeds.

I bought this product as a beginner oboe player and I know a few other oboe players that have made the mistake of purchasing this product. None of the reeds played. And overall it was a huge waist of money. Just buy two working reeds instead. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Bought this and when they arrived two of the five were cracked and unusable

I ordered these reeds and my granddaughter couldn't get not 1 sound out of any of them. She is an experienced Oboe player so she knows what she is doing. Believe me if there was lower than a 1 star rating, that would have been it. The only thing that came out of the whole thing that was worthwhile was the little cases for each reed. She can use them to soak her quality reeds that she buys at school. What a disappointment!

These are adequate reeds for my 5th grader beginner player. With her ability, these reeds sound exactly the same as other quality reeds. Can't complaint.

My grandson wanted to play the oboe in band, however they had no reeds. So I bought some and gave them to the school.

Great deal for the price. But 3 were damaged. Not sure if it was because of shipping; but they were useless.

Only 1 of the 5 worked, thus one star for the one that was OK.
