Would it fit a Martin M-36 (0000, 16" lower bout)?** A: we are not sure but don;t think so. We put a D28 Herringbone in ours. Lid is recessed about an inch but has "snugging blocks" that are about 1/2 inch thick. I've had mine about a year and a half carrying a Martin HD 28. Really a nice light weight case. Very well padded. Protection not as good as a hard case but it's no gig bag either. I would reccommend this case. I do not think this can be fixed. I am keeping it. I like the weight of it, and it comes highly recommended by a seasoned musician. (I had him check the new one too.) While the case still looks like the image of the TL-60 pictured more than the TL-50, it does hold my guitar. I think I will be satisfied though I encourage others to know about the issues of glue.FIRST ORDER: Box appeared to be reused, which was not a concern, yet when opened, it was clear that this case is damaged. The clasp was pulled out on the top. The bottom clasp looks to have been hot glued in place. My guess is that someone purchased this and returned it damaged, and then, it was not checked by the company upon return before being reshipped out. As least, I hope that is the case rather than poor quality. Once opened the felt lining was coming unglued from the top lid. This makes me question whether it is poor quality in construction or poor storage habits.After reviewing the order and comparing the item with the image pictured on Amazon product listing, certain details were not matching up. More research suggests that I have been shipped the TL-60 for Classical/Resophonic Guitars. I had looked at this before ordering the TL-50 to make sure I was ordering the correct item. The TL-60 has a depression in the top lid and a block pad that is away from the bottom curve.This case came highly recommended from another who not only owns the local store but also uses the TL-50 to store his Martin. I only purchased through Amazon at his recommendation because he was having trouble with his supplier.My hope is that these issues will be resolved properly.
