Intuitive, reliable, and feature rich.
It is very intuitive. I would recommend this for anyone entering university who doesn't have a scientific calculator. It can essentially do just about anything you could want, minus graphing. Before getting this, however, I would recommend seeing if you can get the fx-JP900CWS-N, which is the (as of writing this review) most recent version of this calculator with more constants and conversions built into it. However, from my experience with using this calculator for a modern physics course, what this version has is more than sufficient.As for the user experience, it is VERY menu-heavy, which can impact how quickly you navigate it. I don't mind that layout, especially since it allows you to use buttons to navigate through the menu quicker (like specific buttons for specific things within menus and submenus). It also seems quite sturdy, especially compared to the flimsy TI-30XIIS my school had been recommending. Additionally, this calculator uses one AAA battery and does not have the ability to use solar power. That is sortof a good and a bad thing, but it does have an indicator for when the battery is running low.Overall, I'd say it is a very solid and reliable calculator, and you can't go wrong with picking it. Especially at this price.

No doubt this is the best in its price range
Cant believe we have gone so far that the $20 Calc is this good. I graduated in 2014 and going back to school in 2026. I can see how far we have gone in budget Calculators. So easy to use and almost self explanatory for most parts. I used it for my Stat course and I loved it so far. I also like how edges are designed like iPhones and the semi Carbon fiber look 😊

I use this thing everyday
Love how easy this thing is to adapt to and use. I use it everyday for school and work and trust me I'm no spring chicken so adapting to any new scientific calculator was going to be a challenge! Very user friendly.

Excelente calculadora. El salto de diseño respecto a los modelos anteriores se nota bastante; los menús son mucho más intuitivos y fáciles de usar, casi como un smartphone. Resuelve matrices, integrales y ecuaciones de forma rapidísima. Además, la pantalla tiene muy buena definición. Totalmente recomendada si estudias ingeniería o ciencias.

You can use it on tests
I own a drawer full of Calculators from Casio, HP, and others. This one let's you press [Format] to bounce back and forth between an exact answer and a decimal answer. All the others only show you a rounded decimal answer.

Amazing Compared to the FX-991CW
I recently got this calculator to replace my FX-991CW, and this calculator is a BIG improvement to it. The menu navigation, the new behavior for the format and the scienctific notation buttons made this model of calculator actually usable after the fiasco of FX-991CW.
