perfect for general trail riding! I can siee if you ride fast/ aggressively, maybe get a 2.5 minion, but for the 99% of riders, this tire suits a wide range of conditions with fairly good side lugs and cornering traction. i run a Ikon+ in the back and this has GOBS more traction that that. Not that the Ikon doesnt, but in turns, this tire bites and hold while the Ikon offers a predicable drift. this tire really locks up, never felt it slip, especially at the right pressure. I'm running about 13psi (i'm a small guy). Santa Cruz specs these front and back on their plus bikes. That should tell you something.

Best front tire ever! I switched a DHF 2.5 for the Rekon 2.4 and not only is the bike much lighter, the grip is 2 to 3 times better on loose over hard/sand dry trails I ride. I'm an agresivo rider always try to break less and less on flat turns to be better at it and this tire changed the game for ever. The round profile looking down at it makes for super predictable cornering whether you lean a little or a lot you get the same confidence which translates to faster turns. Will always buy this tire from now on with the 3C compound.

Love these tires on my mountain bike. Took them on a 330+ mile Central Florida bike packing trip. Sand could not slow me down with these tires. The downside is when you hit the pavement, the tread pattern really slows you down. They don't roll very well on long stretches of pavement. The rear tire is showing lots of wear after about 500 miles. Me and my bike packing rig weight about 300lbs.

My go to tire for the MTB bike. These tires really corner great and they work great with grip. I use on both the front and rear of my bike.

These tires do not seem to like sand, loose dirt, or pine needles. To be honest, I have not been impressed yet by these tires, I really feel like my bike has been slipping way to much with how wide and aggressive these tires are. On the bright side, they look pretty good and are a slight improvement over my stock tires.

27.5x2.6 was a perfect fit on a stock Diamondback 2019 Syncr. The factory tubeless ready rims with factory rim tape worked perfectly. Used 4 ounces of Orange Seal per tire. Traction is amazing. Hopefully they'll last a long time!

I was worried it would be low quality because of the cheap price. It has worked wonderfully (had it for 3 weeks or so) Great Tread seems good quality. Came with a nice string backpack to carry it in too (I use it to store my bike tools now) Definitely going to buy this again when needed

I replaced a set of Maxxis Minions with these. They give better bite on hard surfaces like rock, sandstone, and hard-pan soils. Still, if the ground is wet and a bit muddy, they hold great. I'm delighted with the performance, the grip, and a slightly smoother ride than the Minions.

Ware wie beschrieben gut. Beim Ausbau des alten Reifens ist sehr viel Kraft und/oder ein Werkzeug von Nöten, um ihn von der Felge zu entfernen. Einbau easy. Würde diesen Reifen wieder kaufen.

Al día siguiente de montar esta cubierta, rodando por carretera me estalla la cubierta, y veo que se ha desgarrado por debajo de uno de los tacos. Penoso, para un articulo con el precio que tiene este.
