The text, as always with Vivienne Becker, is thoroughly researched giving insights to the Artists process and his love of it. Bicakci uses a number of techniques and it's truly fascinating to read. His generosity of spirit is inspiring. The use of black background in the photographs for dramatic effect was an opportunity lost I think considering a paler background would have brought out the very beautiful subtle elements of the jewellery more profoundly.
