Cheap, not worth sending back
I purchased a 4 pack. Two look decent with only a little rust. Two have lots of rust around the spring and pivot, one of those would not spring closed. The package was completely dry and arrived a few hours before I got home. Not worth my time to contact, return and wait for another set. I would not trust these with 500lbs, I plan on using two of these per kayak which should be fine. I will not purchase these again.

Pick and choose usage wisely.
I enjoyed the additional key rings included in the packaging, which was neatly boxed. I've ordered these several times and used then on several projects. They are great for securing gear but the locking mechanism is very counterintuitive. If you need to quickly disconnect gear or connect new gear it will take at least 10 seconds to unscrew the locking mechanism. Good thing about the locking mechanism is that it tends to slide into the locked position during movement (e.g. walking the dogs) which I have used on several DIY harnesses for multiple dogs. So for things that you need to make sure stay connected, they will.. For situation you need to quick disconnect, it won't.

Quick wear
We are on our second set of these for our swingset in 4 months. These wear incredibly thin very quickly. However, I struggled to find others that fit with our links and chain.

Hard to use
It works as advertised. And is made well. But I had not realized how difficult it would be to operate the locking barrel. It doesn't jamb, but I am just not able to work it single handed. I am used to the one hand simple click operation of non-locking carabiners. Is too awkward to use these locking verision. Even with the barrel fully retracted you can't, hit-n-click the carabiner onto a rope - the barrel catches on the rope. I wanted the heavy duty, didn't really need the locking feature. Will keep looking for heavy duty, non-locking.

Get what you pay for
They work. Not as smooth and easy to use as the higher prices and higher quality options. I use them for a variety of reasons around the house, garage and yard. For the price they have been worthwhile. If you are planning on using in a more strenuous or risky situation. I would find a better option.

Bad Product
I got these carabiners in the mail and they came all rusted to pieces and they squeak like crazy overall not satisfied with the product. Would not buy

These are really good carabiners. A little expensive but very solid.
I use these for weight lifting and these make me feel pretty good about working with the heavier weights and machines. Plus if I need them at the gym I can be certain these are mine, because most gyms just use those standard ones and these stand out as different.
