Unfortunately, it is about 8 inches too short for my king mattress. I was still hoping to keep it and just use it as a throw but after washing once on cold, gentle cycle it developed bleached spots everywhere as other reviewers noted. It's even more beautiful in person. It's soft and cozy. I've washed it a couple times with no fading. My husband was afraid it was going to be too busy from the photos but once I had it on the bed he loved it too. The pattern gives it a bit of exotic flare with nice mix of warm and cool tones. The underside is just the dark blue pattern so I suppose you could flip it for a change too.
