Kind of small...
Smaller size than what I expected, a little disappointed.

The only Bermuda travel guide you will ever need!
Usually when I read a travel book, I find that it is filled with hotels to stay at or hot spots for vacationing individuals and families. I picked up this book because I have always been interested in Bermuda and my son has mentioned that he would like to travel there one day. Honestly, I fully expected a mundane book showing me where to stay, where to dine and maybe some slight information on the scenery throughout the area. This book stunned me with facts about Bermuda that I had no knowledge whatsoever on. I don’t want to give anything away that was inside of the book, but I will say that that this included a very engaging history of Bermuda, slavery in Bermuda that I never knew about, and facts about the well-known Bermuda Triangle that went well beyond fascinating and very intriguing. After reading all of the wonderful background history on Bermuda, you will also find the much desired destination hot spots and other tourism information that anyone travelling to Bermuda should know about. There is so much excellent information in this book that is absolutely vital to planning a trip to Bermuda. Things like weather patterns and the best time during the year to plan your trip really come in handy for those who really want to fully experience the beauty and history of their dream vacation. I can tell you now that when we finally plan a family trip to Bermuda, we’ll be going late in the year to avoid the huge tourist crowds and to be able to really enjoy our trip. This is THE book to read if you’re thinking about planning a vacation to Bermuda or even if you are planning to move to Bermuda for business or personal reasons. I dare say you won’t find a better book that details the history as well as the modern conveniences in such an engaging way as this one does!

Basically Wikipedia Printed
This was an impulse purchase and sorry to say that this is probably not worth the money. Seems like this person printed out Wikipedia and maybe makes a few editorial comments here and there. The writing is generally poor and there are zero pictures or maps. Just text! :-(

Great, Quick, No-Frills Overview
It doesn't contain anything you don't need. Nor does it contain everything you do. An easily skimmed source of information for those considering this destination.

Hardly qualifies as a book; buy a proper travel guide instead.
I'm sorry, this book is just lame on all counts. First thing, look at the length of the book- 44 pages. This reviewer did not before buying- to his chagrin. While the listing allows you to "look inside," you only are allowed to see the contents, introduction, and copyright- nothing of the meat of the "book." This book reads like a high school junior's Social Studies report, taken right from the internet. Besides the droll content, this book features an annoying overuse of the word "amazing," and the author seems to be rather hazy regarding punctuation, particularly the correct punctuation of plurals and possessives. One would wonder who would even publish something so amateurish. Surprise! It's self-published. Proofreading before publishing might be in order before the author's next offering to the public. As another reviewer pointed out, the stellar reviews are a tad suspicious, to say the least. All were posted within a space of 10 days or so. One might suspect the reviews were lifted from the internet as well. When this reviewer purchased this book, the reviews were all positive. This book's one saving grace is it's lesson to become a more careful consumer. The warnings were there, but this reviewer didn't look closely enough. Unfortunately, this particular lesson cost $6.99 plus shipping. Frankly, it comes as a surprise that Amazon even carries this "book."

If you don't want to missed out on Bermuda, then you've to read this book
I was in Bermuda last year, and I wasn't sure if I will travel to it this year. I thought I'll buy this book just from curiosity to see if there are places that I missed. And boy!... I can't believe how many amazing places I've missed even though I had a travel guide which supposed to show all places. It seems like I missed 50% of Bermuda. I'm definitely going to travel to it again and have a great time, visit all beautiful places which I missed because I didn't read this book before. I recommend this book to everyone who's going to travel to Bermuda because you don't want to miss out on a lot of beautiful places because your guide didn't show it.

Great information. Just have a couple of things for its improvement.
This book provides a lot of information about Bermuda. However, I suggest that since this is a travel guide book, there is no need to discuss more about the history of Bermuda. Instead, dwell on the physical, social, religious, political, and sociological aspects. Also, pictures are very important and I haven't find any one throughout the book. This book is great and I hope that the publishers will incorporate my suggestion for its improvement.

This is OK for 2.99. But not worth a penny more
This was disappointing. It did not live up to the title: Everything you Need to know When Traveling to Bermuda. Far from it.Having been to Bermuda several times already, I was hoping for something a little more indepth.I was disappointed that I didn't learn anything more than what I could pick up by looking on line.A minor point, but one that bugged me, were several type-o's and even a few grammatical mistakes. This is something that should have been picked up prior to publishing.

Avoid, you'll be sorry you wasted the 4 quid!
How very disappointing. More like a high school 'project' this book should really be entitled "A few facts about Bermuda and nothing that you REALLY need to know."Theres a brief (well the 'book' is only about 10 pages) history of Bermuda, some nonsense about the Bermuda triangle - remember, the books called 'Everything you need to know" ) followed by the brief thoughts of the author on a few attractions. Not sure why you'd need to need about the 'triangle' - perhaps it might influence you visiting the island?I did wonder if the author had actually been to Bermuda as much of the book seems like 'cut and paste' from Wikipedia and the internet. In short, don't waste your time or money on this book.Luckily I get a refund ;-)

the only useful information could have been condensed into 4 pages
Where to start. The only redeeming feature of this brochure is the price. Poorly written, appalling grammar, plus so much "state the obvious" ; the only useful information could have been condensed into 4 pages. A map would have been helpful. All the reader is left with is a lot of "amazings" and "the one thing you should know" when rattling off several things that are common sense when travelling. Don't waste your money.

I'm currently looking for new travel destinations and I decided to purchase this small guide in order to learn more about Bermuda. I learned what I wanted in less than an hour! It does the job

Could do better
Quite brief. No pictures or maps. Some useful information but I expect more from a travel guide.
