A decent necklace. This was bought to replace a pure leather necklace that held an item of sentimental value. It is sturdy with a good fastenings & accurate sizing. Good value for the price

Bought this as a spare, had one for eleven months without a problem, worn every day, lncluding in the shower.

I generally like this style of necklace. I have struggled in the past to find one that was perfect. I do not want to have to remove my necklace each time I want to shower. Rubber ones became hard and stiff after a while.I like in-line clasps, but I have found that magnetic ones do not remain secure.I like the 3mm necklace. The clasp on this is slightly too large for the loop on my pendant. I was able to ease it open slightly and reclose it. This extra effort was worth it to me. The clasp is very secure, and does not scratch my neck in any way.I have been wearing this for 3 months now, and it is is still flexible, shiny, feels and looks good.UPDATE 15 Sept 2021: I have reduced this from 5 stars to 3 stars. Shortly after posting the original review, the cord broke - well maybe not actually broke, but came out of the clasp. Perhaps not enough of the cord is glued inside the metal tube of the clasp, or not enough glue is used.I bought another and after 3-4 weeks the same thing happened (photos attached).- perhaps if I did not wear it in the shower it might last longer, even though I only wash my hair once a week so it is not getting soaked daily.-Perhaps if I did not wear it in bed, it might last longer, but I like to wear a pendant 24 hours. It was not subject to any rough treatment. I have now gone back to a metal curb chain, also from PROSTEEL.- Looking at the remains of the necklace:- it seems to have some traces of glue on the cord, suggesting it WAS glued in.- it either broke deep inside the tube or just pulled out, the cord did not break at the edge of thetube and leave a visible stump inside the tube.- it seems like it is due simply to poor manufacturingIt is sad, because I really like the clasp mechanism, and the look and feel of the necklace before it breaks. Unlike a rubber necklace, there was no stiffening or hardening of the material before the thing broke.As I say, if you put it on in the morning after a shower, and take it off at night before any shower, it might last longer.
