Cox Cable 4-Device Universal Remote Control - URC-8820-CISCO

Advertisement states it has all the internal keys for On/Off, Volume, Channels options to work with COX. The television's channel must remain on channel 2 to use the Cox channel line-up and this does not work as a cox remote. And even though it's advertised as being returnable which I want to do due to false advertising the money spent for this defective item will NOT BE RETURNED? Even though I am a prime member!

Perfect match for my cox remote that my dog ate . I contacted cox when it happened and I was told I would have to go to their store two towns away to purchase — they didn’t allow online or phone orders for remotes?? Which is absurd. I needed a remote on Friday & they We’re closing when I realized it & wouldn’t be open until MondayI ordered this and had it next day with my prime account!! Literally saved me both time & money by not having to wait & drive to the local cox office.

Bought this on a whim because our old Cox remote was having more problems than not. The price was cheap and my expectations weren’t all that high. This remote is fantastic! Put the batteries in. There’s quick programming instructions printed on the battery compartment. Within 30 seconds our TV, cable box and sound bar were all programmed. No more standing up to get closer to the cable box to change channels. Stress level in the house is down. Life is good 👍

Everything was outstanding. The remote was exactly as described. Maybe better. It arrived exactly as predicated. I would certainly purchase anything from this seller again.Only negative is that I believe that COX should make it easier to replace THEIR broken remote. It was too much trouble to plow through the automated recording. Much easier to order from Amazon! Thank you Amazon and this seller.

My dog eats one of these a couple times a year when we forget and leave it in nose-reach. So, this has been a relatively affordable replacement option and works as well as the original.

Standard Cox remote, works with Cox DVR and replaced the old broken one with no issues.

This device replaces my original remote, as the mute switch had become intermittent & flakey. I was surprised at how simple it was to program turning on my Vizio HD TV, my Cable Box, and Blue Ray player. The instructions were clear and provided a shortcut to setting up. I can't imagine anyone paying near $90 for setup. However I understand not everyone is digital savvy in setup procedures. Thanks for a great product.!
