I purchased this stool to put a heavy pot containing a cactus plant on top of it. With the pot resting on the stool, the floor under it could be cleaned which would not be the case if the pot was resting directly on the floor. The stool has five legs, four on the corners and one in the middle. The middle leg helps in taking the weight of the pot.
