Review: nice old fashioned metal jaxs and balls - i am partial to old wood antique childrens games, i bought the boxed jax because of the wood old fashioned look. and the look was exactly what i wanted. as far as the jax, they are just like what i grew up with, the nice metal jax that you did not want to step on! i got them mostly for looks, however i got my neices playing with me, and now i am hoping jax have a come back with the younger generation, as it did seem to hold their attention and they played them several times and really enjoyed it. only one disappointment, the jax were 5 silver and 5 gold, i was hoping for a full set of 10 each. i could be wrong but i believe a full set is 10, so its like to half sets (5 ea color) but together they make one set. it does also have two bouncy balls. overall its 5 stars.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid construction. Nice case.

Everything I have ever ordered from this game maker has been good quality and a good value for the money. This set comes in a nice stained wooden case with a flip up lid and magnetic closure, which is nice to make it harder for the jacks to spill out accidentally. Some reviewers mentioned that the jacks are lighter weight than ideal. And I have to agree. I remember them being heavier back in the day. However, virtually every set I saw on the market today is made with this same material. Unless you find a vintage set in eBay, I think this is what you get. It had been so many years since I played, I was happy to see that this set came with easy to understand instructions about how to play. My husband and granddaughter really got a kick out of playing it. I can see us using this for many years to come.
