I ordered this book for a class I had to take at TAMU. I never really used the book but the information in it is relevant enough.

Good textbook Barely used.

I was surprised that I found this text so interesting! I've since dropped the course due to personal issues this semester, but I still find myself reading through the text. Not only does it provide you with the facts you need to develop a basic grasp of genetics, but it also supplements the facts with moral questions and debates. There is no "right" or "wrong" answer to these moral questions, and it got the online class actively debating. There is something to be said for a text that sparks active debates amongst students who aren't even required to post on a given topic!
