Good article
After a few days of testing, I can say that it works very well on my 2009 Mazda CX7. I had a smoke problem with the exhaust. This due to wear on the turbo.

Place holder review. Only driven 37 miles so far.
What I liked: It's inexpensive. What I don't like: Sketchy as frig. Gaskets leave a lot to be desired. After watching a couple hours of BoostedBoiz videos, I decided maybe I could get away with a cheap turbo. After all, the real ones are probably made in the same town as this one is!Anyone who's at the level where they're changing a turbocharger is going to be able to address this thing's shortcomings. The worst thing I saw was the angle of the wastegate actuator arm was such that the circlip wouldn't set in it's land. I tried bending the arm on the actuator, but it snapped and I just used the stock wastegate actuator (after bending to sit on the waste gate arm properly.)Issue number 2: The stud that holds the water lines going to the heater core didn't come on this unit and I couldn't get the original one off the old turbo because I was drunk and lazy and just went ham with a pair of slip jaw pliers. Sooo, I just tossed a spare bolt in where the stud was.Issue 3: The swarf. There was more than a little swarf left over from machining the hot side. I'm guessing it came from the bores of the down pipe stud holes. Either way, the preserving oil held a lot of iron chips in the hot side, including on the turbine. If I cared more I would have taken the exhaust housing off and thoroughly cleaned it. The compressor side, as I'm sure everyone has figured out, doesn't always let the backup plate free without a fight so I didn't even consider removing the compressor housing to take a look around.I only have 37 miles on this unit. On startup the oxygen sensor freaked out from the burning preserving oil and the engine almost died, but after a couple minutes the idle smoothed out. I'm being gentle on this thing for a while because I need my car to get to work and because I think being gentle while it wears in is probably beneficial. The reason I didn't go with a legit Borg Warner CHRA was because of wide cracking around the wastegate opening on my exhaust housing. So, at least I should have a couple housings to go on a CHRA if this thing goes to hell!I'll try to update this when the car hits 1000 miles. I put everything together with Bostic pure nickle anti-seize for ease of replacement just in case.Consider buying downpipe spring bolt things, the cone gasket, and a kit of copper crush gaskets. Didn't come with an engine side gasket for the oil drain pipe.I'll tell ya what, I didn't make a mistake going into aviation instead of automotive. Those car mechanics earn their money.

Works great!
So far so good! Key is to make sure oil lines are all cleaned prior to installing a new one, and off course change oil as well in your car.

DO NOT BUY - Time an Labor WASTED
Dont buy this product. Although they offer a warranty and it seems decent in pics it is a pos. I had this professionally installed on a fully rebuilt engine and within 100 miles it blew. We primed the turbo took care in every part of the job just to end up broken down needing to take time off work to get it towed back to the mechanics. It's not about the 120$ spent on the turbo it's about the time wasted. The company couldnt pay me to put one of their replacements on the car under warranty. Its junk and even though a few people have had luck I would strongly discourage buying it unless you are ok with possibly breaking down 100 miles down the road and needing to do a full turbo replacement all over again.
