Simplicity of installation can be misleading
I bought this unit as a replacement for a previous Triton shower that has been in the property since I moved into it. As someone who works in Technical support for a major retailer (Not Amazon) I' am a fairly hands on person anyway but the installation process if you are simply swapping over a previous unit for a new one is as I was doing it is relatively simple and may not require a plumber if your connections are ready for it.My only advise would be for anyone in a similar situation to me would simply be to be wary of the this claim that this is simple to install as the product description implies, All that really means is that the water intake nozzle to which you connect you to your own pipework can be flipped to take the water feed from either the left or the right side. A novel idea but if you have no pipework in place don't think this means its something that can be easily installed without a live electrical feed or a flowing water feed already in place. If you are simply swapping this over a previous unit then it is easy to install.. If not then its a different matter and you are better off getting a handyman to do it.Anyway as for the product itself... No complaints..

Easy to install, even in the most awkward setups
I bought this because it was an easy install- I can remember how much trouble my dad had when he fitted the last shower for me. Judging from the complete lack of swearing coming from the bathroom during install, I can surmise that it was really simple to do. There are a variety of intake pipes, so it doesn't really matter what your original shower is plumbed in like- this shower will cater for it. Our shower is also pretty tight with the electricity at the back, as the cable doesn't have much slack, but again due to the variety of inputs, this was easy to overcome. The shower is easy to use- turn the top dial to the red dot for a hot shower, or select one of the other options for a cooler soak. Bottom dial turns to alter the temperature. The temperature is great- it can get HOT!, and the pressure is pretty good too, considering we have installed upstairs where the water pressure is questionable at times. The water hose wasn't great, and there was water spraying out when we originally set everything up, but I swapped it out to the one from the old shower and there were no more leaks. Not sure if I got one that was defective or if this is an issue with the brand. But, a wee cheap hose from B&M fits better than the one supplied with the shower. Oh, and you need to get a washer to install as well- cheap enough to get from screwfix or somewhere similar, or even just order online. But it is a small adapter to fit the water pipes onto the unit. Just bear this in mind when you decide to set it up.The warranty was very easy to sign up for, and you can upload proof of purchase to save any issues finding it later on if required. I would buy this shower again.

Great value for money , fit in same place as my last shower .
Like this product . Good value , but has no stop button , so you need to turn dial back to top.

Not the best - plus - update after engineers visit
If I had seen the reviews of this shower on the internet before ordering I would never have got it. It doesn’t heat the water and it is fine if you love a cold shower! Contacted Triton who have cancelled their engineers visit twice without explanation. . I am waiting with bated breath and hope it will be third time lucky. Their customer service is well below par and would never ever recommend this shower. The whole experience has been appalling and now nearly three weeks later I still haven’t been able to have a shower. Think twice about getting this particular model. Saying this my previous shower was a Triton and lasted about 5 years so it is obviously this particular modelPs engineer came yesterday (3rd time lucky) couldn’t find anything wrong. On stripping it down, what I can only describe as a black sticky pad flushed out and then hot water flowed. Can only imagine this was from manufacture or installation - engineer hadn’t seen anything like it before and was preventing a ‘connection’ of some sort . I’m looking forward to hot showers from now on

Do not buy this shower if you plan for a right hand water entry.
The shower water entry is badly designed in my opinion. The right hand water entry feature will not accept a standard compression coupling without distorting and straining the entry pipe see picture. I had to make a special compression fitting to try to accept the connection even with that the copper pipe fouls the black overflow pipe and will not go in straight.I did not try to run the electrical supply from the right hand side clearly there is little space to do this.I have not tried the other connection options however there is not a lot of space to make any connections in my view. The revolving water connection is a possible cause for failure if any strain is placed upon it in my view. There are other Triton showers available at a similar price but have a look on the Triton Website and view or download the installation manual to make sure the shower you are buying is suitable for your installation. However with this shower the installation manual does not identify this issue until you try to install it.I would suggest you use one of the showers available without the revolving water inlet.I have taken the matter up with Triton.
