WASH DEEP COLOURS BEFORE FIRST USE. Thankfully we have good quality mattress protectors, one of them is now very pink as the staining didn't wash out, even after using vanish, soda crystals and a pre soak, at least it did the job and our mattress is stain free.Also, the rubber seal in our washing machine is now slightly pink after washing the fitted sheet, again not a problem as this will soon disappear after a few washes.Don't be put off from buying the deep coloured sheets, the red is a really nice colour.
