Cablesson HDElity HDMI 3D Extender Single Cat5/6 (BI Directional IR) - 1080p Full HD (50m) / 720p (60m)

I deliberated for a long while between an HDMI / Cat6 extender verses an AV wi-fi sender for getting a signal from my Sky box to a second television. Reports on the wireless route seemed very hit and miss (and much more expensive) and so I bit the bullet and ran 20m of Cat 6 cable. In conjunction with a Cablesson 2 way HDMI splitter box, the result is a perfect HD picture and audio on the remote TV, plus the IR blasters work well too so I can also control the Sky Box from the remote room. Excellent result!

I bought this extender to replace an older one that failed after about 30 months of use. The previous one was also an HDelity, but without 3d compatibility. This one is smaller and appears to be well built. The only issue I found with this new design is that the device tends to work at higher temperatures than the older model. For now, anyway, it works flawlessly, extending hd video over cat 5e cable together with IR signal. No problems with any audio video device. I just hope that it lasts longer than the first I bought

Awesome bit of kit for the price, only downside is that the units get very warm, maybe the cases could be vented in some way to allow airflow to the components. But otherwise all good

Great Product. Using it to send 1920x1200 at 50Hz over aoorox 40m from our machine room to the edit suites.Outperforms products twice the price - and works over 1 CAT5 cable rather than 2.

Very fast delivery and an all round excellent product! So easy to install and use! Doesn't work with Sky for the IR because sky use IR over RF.

Terrible product did not work straight out of the box. When power is plugged in no lights come on. You can barely tell it is on. I would advise spending more money on a product like this.

Great product, very easy to set-up, works flawlessly for me over ~30m of CAT5e through a patch bay.
