Okuma Komodo 350 Size Large Capacity Low Profile with Paddle Handle

I'm impressed so far. Have thrown big swim baits, SK's 30+ crank, and Double 10's with it. positive anti reverse, lots of capacity, nice fit and finish. I teted the drag and could only get 22lb out of it but hey. Reason for not giving 5 stars is the mag adjustment is under the side plate which is easy enough to do. And has a micro adjust knob but is still just kind of a pain if you're switching from 2oz to 6 or so on.

Great casting reel. The drag is nice and smooth & helps when fighting those big fish. They should make the anti-reverse bearing stronger though as there's some play in the spool going forward with the reel engaged.

Casts great. Smooth. The drag system is awful. I've sent it to the manufacturer to be "fixed." It's continues to be mushy and soft. I can tighten it as much as possible and still pull line with just my index finger and thumb. I have lightweight spinning gear that doesn't give way as easy. The colarable Okuma Citrix is slightly better. My suggestion: get a Diawa Lexa 300 or 400. Much better reels. Honestly, why buy a reel like this if you can't lift a musky jig without thumbing the spool.

Best options around. A little sloppy compared to my Revo's. Still a good buy.

I've put this reel through real salty humid tough times.. it easily handles 20lbs & 30lbs fish with no problem what so ever .. highly recommended ..

Great. Paired with my lamiglas kokanee rod. lots of line capacity for those deep Lake Chelan fish.

I took this thing apart upon arrival to lube it to my specifications and holy crap......This thing is built tough! The main gear is HUUUUGE! All of the components are made tough and the reel feels very smooth. The drag is unbelievable. I have no doubt that this reel will manhandle any muskie foolish enough to bite a lure that it is attached to!
