Wonderful product that is Coast Guard Approved. My 5 year old grandson likes is because it fits better than the first 4 I got him. He is required by law (all young ppl) to wear a CG Approved flotation device while on the boat. I agree with Safety. This one is cut so he has alot more mobility and does not overheat him. Comfortable for a 2 and 5 year old. They don’t mind wearing them in the boat or in the water at all. Good product, works well.

My daughter did great swimming in this one. She is a new swimmer only a couple months strong and it fit great she didn’t flip over and if she did we showed her how to properly get back to her safety position. The ONLY THING! The strap that goes between the legs cut her a bit nothing some neosporin couldn’t fix and a warm bath. Would definitely be adding some cloth to cover that up so it doesn’t happen again.

The weight range for this vest is 30-50 pounds. It is a U.S.Coast Guard approved Class III (recreational) flotation device with an "intended use" stated as a "ski vest". It has three straps placed where you want them with very substantial plastic snap buckles that don't easily lend themselves to being opened by the child. The quality of construction is as good as the Stohlquist Youth vest that is virtually identical, except this vest is made in the U.S. by The Coleman Company. You get a good, basic life vest, appropriate for a child within the stated weight range for about twenty bucks, which is a bargain. The vest has no pockets or other bells and whistles. What I particularly like about this vest is the adjustable crotch strap that keeps the child from falling out the bottom if the vest is being worn too loosely and the child puts his/her arms straight up and possibly slips out. You don't have to use the crotch strap, but it's there and can be easily stowed at the back of the vest if you don't want it. Maybe you need a crotch strap for a "ski vest," but it' also going to make the child-occupant happier for ordinary floating around because they'll float higher in the water and the vest won't ride up in front of their face. Anyone who has bobbed around in a PFD a long time knows you have to keep pulling it down to keep it from riding up in the water. This crotch strap solves that problem. I wish it were an option on adult PFDs where the waist strap has to be adjusted very tight to achieve the same result.

This fits true to size and is great quality! I was in need of a life jacket for my child to ride a boat, and I am glad I bought this! It is comfortable and doesn't fade easily.

Los materiales de este chaleco son de muy buena calidad, el acabado es muy bonito y ajusta perfectamente a las dimensiones de los niños pequeños, solamente recomiendo usarlo con trajecitos de baño que les cubran las piernas porque la cinta que pasa entre las pierna puede causar rosaduras por el movimiento. En lo personal mi niña se olvido que traía puesto el chaleco y tuvo días de diversión al máximo.

Muy buena calidad pero bien muy reducido, para niños muy pequeños o de complexion muy delgada y no muy altos.....

En cuanto me llego, lo probamos para verificar que realmente servia el chaleco y que cumpliera con las expectativas y efectivamente no me equivoque, puedo volver a comprar con ustedes con la certeza de que el articulo es de calidad y seguro para los pequeños!

En la foto de venta no quedan claros algunos detalles del producto que me llevaron decidir por regresarlo: (1) tiene una espuma dura y demasiado gruesa sobretodo en la parte de adelante, (2) en las laterales no hay espuma, apenas cuerda, (3) no hay ziper, se cierra apenas con los 3 seguros. Antes mi hijo de 2 años tenía un chaleco speedo, que se perdió: era super confortable, se quedaba sin que le molestara o limitara los movimientos, incluso fuera de agua. Al ponerse este, mi hijo quedó con los brazos separados del cuerpo, de tan gruesa la espuma, parecia un robot jaja Lo sentí como el típico chaleco que te hacen usar en paseos turísticos de barco o a cenotes. No lo he probado en agua, pero estoy segura que flota bien. En cuanto al tamaño, mi hijo es muy flaco (11kg y 90cm) y sí le queda (se puede quedar bien en un niño mas llenito también, ya que el ajuste es de cuerdas y no hay espuma en las laterales). El rojo es vivo, mucho mas bonito que en la foto de venta. Y me llegó al día siguiente, excelente cumplimiento del vendedor.
