It explains the dream and the challenges of producing a car that is so close to what was shown at the car show in 2002. It details the teamwork between the stylists and engineers, all while working within the constraints of a huge corporation and its goal for a $20,000 car. You'll get a lot of detail here, not just pictures.Unfortunately, the price of the book has increased well beyond the $39.95 I paid Amazon for it in 2019. However, if you are dedicated to this automobile and are seriously contemplating getting this book, I think you will be pleased with your purchase.

I purchased this book for my dad for Christmas. He has a Solstic coupe and loves it. The car itself is amazing to drive - it's heavy, yet light on its 'feet'. When I came across the book I knew he would love it.This compilation of images and articles of the Solstice from start to finish is fantastic. The book is a bit heavy and the price seems high, but it is worth the money. It is filled with interesting facts about the little car that could. A GREAT addition to any Solstice owner's collection of sports car paraphenalia!

This is a must have for any Solstice owner or car lover. This book was put together out with the same style mindedness of the Solstice design team. The book is not a cheap publication, but is a high quality, well designed book. After getting the book and reading it, I think the price is well worth the money. It is, in fact, a fair price. It truly had an artist put it all together. The story is equally well done and taught me a lot that I did not know about the Solstice. As a Solstice owner, this book will be with me a long time. It is perfect for putting on a coffee table too....it is just nice to look at. Thank you Gary for writing this book.

This is a fantastic resource for any Solstice owner. It is an in-depth look at the car's development, from conception to delivery. Great pictures and great stories. This book is printed on high quality stock and is a pleasure to read.The seller's (lamm-morada) customer service is second to none. There was a technical problem with my order and when they were notified, they bent over backward to rectify it.

If you have a kappa, this is a great book with so much information. Great book, very happy.

This book is absolutely beautiful, and makes a great gift for anyone who has a Solstice. It's large, bright, and very informative. I bought it for my father, who got one of the first Solstice's to come out, and doesn't do much besides polish it. This book is his Christmas present, and though I haven't given it to him yet, there is no way he won't love it. This book is great.EDIT: He loved it.

Wow, i am so impressed with this add on to my Pontiac Solstice, a top shelp book ! I treat my small roadster as its a baby & this book is the iceing on the cake for me,,,,,,,, Im proud of my 1st year 2006 PONTIAC & if & when i sell or pass it on to the next owner, this book will go along with the deal,,,,, well written.

I had the pleasure to meet the author at the 2nd Annual North American Solstice Meet this year and his book is a great addition to any Solstice fan/owners library. The book gives you a look into the making of the Solstice and an insiders view of "behind the scenes" issues. The book also has some nice pictures and introduces you to the guys that made the car possible. A must have for any Solstice fan!
