4.25 Stars: Great thermostat
This thermostat replaced another Braeburn programmable thermostat because it was inaccurate, for example when I set the old thermostat to 68*F (20*C) it maintains 64*F- 66*F (17.8*C - 19.4*C) (according to my other thermometers) and my birthday was coming up so asked for this WIFI thermostat and let me just say for the price its worth it and in my opinion it is better than Honeywell. But, I did run into some problems with it.Here are the pros and consPROS:- Fairly accurate- Has circulation mode for the fan (Honeywell doesn't have this)- Can set a schedule for the fan (Honeywell doesn't have this)- Can set a Schedule for Heat/Cool- Can set the temperature differential 0.5*F-2.0*F (Honeywell doesn't have this)- Thermostat works with the following: A/C & Furnace or electric heat (1 heat,1 cool), A/C With Heat pump & Emergency Heat (2 Heat, 2 Cool), A/C with heat pump Only (1 Heat, 1 cool), 2 stage A/C with 2 Stage Heat Pump With or Without Emergency Heat (2 Cool, 2 Heat or 3 Cool, 2 Heat)- Has auto heat and Cool changeover mode (Optional in user settings)-WIFI IS: Fairly Easy to set up, Can monitor or adjust the temperature remotely, can tell thermostat whether you want to heat or cool, *Can Geofence through the app*,can Schedule through the appCONS:- Can be complicated to wire up if you have a A/C with Heat pump and Em. HeatSOLUTION: if you have a O or a B terminal make sure on the new thermostat you hook it up to the O/B Terminal and make sure that your thermostat is in the Correct mode according to the Users ManualCONCLUSION: This Braeburn 7200 is much better than the Honeywell focus pro 6500 and I would recommend to anyone

Can't set cooling above 85
You can't set cooling above 85 degrees. I got this for my shop which 2 days out of the week no one is in the shop yet I can't set the cooling to 90 degrees. I also found that if the internet goes down it loses it's internet connection and it has to be reset to work again.

Excellent wifi thermostat but not Compatible with Alexa or Google
This is an excellent themostat with many installer options to choose from that most thermostats dont have like time delay for fan and ac. Wifi works great and is instant unlike Honeywell where everything is delayed. The price is a great buy if your looking for a basic wifi themostat however the bluelink app is setup differently from others so it will not work with Alexa or Google home if that is something you need.

Quick and easy setup
It installed in about 10 minutes. Wifi was quick and easy and the app is good. Very happy with this thermostat.

Nice thermostat
The first one arrived defective. Some of the digits on the screen would fade out so you couldn't set it properly. The replacement works fine.

Click sound
I’m wondering why I always hear a click sound from our heater even though the thermostat is off. It’s sounding like when you turn on the thermostat, the heater will turn on. Not sure if that’s normal for smart thermostat?

Cool initially, now a PITA
I had one of these installed as part of an HVAC upgrade (so probably won't be a verified purchase) that initially I thought was great, but now that I've had it a few months I find very annoying. It seems that every 3 weeks to a month it loses connection. Unfortunately, it sucks at reconnecting. To get it to reconnect, you need to delete the current wifi setup and redo it. The problem is, the wifi setup is kludgey and doesn't always work so you spend a lot of time setting it up. I have a multitude of other devices that don't do this. When it works, it works well. I'm just getting tired setting it up. for reference, I'm an IT professional and am very familiar with setting up network devices.

Good WiFi-enabled thermostat
Just installed 2 new Trane XR-14 units on my house and chose these to control them. My installer was offering me a deal on the Trane Nexia XL824 thermostats but there's too many bad reviews on Amazon for those supposed 'smart' controllers. I WANTED wifi (remote)-programmable controllers that also function like a basic thermostat. These units seem to do just that. My less-than-tech-savvy spouse can control basic feature, while I can dig deeper with the app on my phone. On the surface these look like dumb thermostats but when they're paired with the free BlueLink app, there's a lot more functionality under the hood, so to speak. That said, pairing the units with the app is not intuitive by any means. Fortunately, these come with good documentation and there are good videos on Braeburn's website that show users how to setup certain features.I've only had them installed for a couple days but I don't anticipate these blanking out like may reviewers experienced with the XL824 color touchscreen units.
