I had traditional 1 inch plastic mini-blinds, and it was time to upgrade. I decided on these 2-inch faux wood blinds because they are very realistic looking. The product arrived timely, and they were easy to install. These blinds elevated my windows. They also appear to be easier to clean. I am very pleased with the outcome. I suggest if you are going to use the valance to put it together and attach it to the rail. That way you don't have to backtrack. By the way these are thick and light blocking when closed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The quality of these blinds was such a nice surprise. I bought one set from Lowe's and a couple sets from Amazon to compare...there was NO difference except Amazon offered a much, much lower price! (only $55 compared to $95) How wonderful to get great quality at a low price. Purchased many more, and will continue to purchase these to replace the old blinds in our large office.

I could NOT be happier with my purchase. I ordered these wood faux blinds for multiple reasons: 1. They look clean. 2. I can open them a certain slant and still allow light, air and privacy during the evening. 3. Not only do they look clean, they are easy to clean. 4. THIS upgraded the look to each room I installed these in, my old blinds were old, dated, dirty and blocked light and air flow. My windows look amazing now! What an upgrade!Heres the best part, I INSTALLED THESE MYSELF! Sure, you need to have exact measurements, and sure, you need to know how to use a screw driver (my window frame did not need a drill, I was able to hand screw in the brackets. ) PRO TIP : USE THE MIDDLE BRACKET, DO NOT SKIP THIS, as YOU will be pulling the blinds down if you bring them up. You dont need to bring them up really)I did my 2 windows in the living room and my bedroom window. I regret only getting 3 windows done as NOW I need to get one for the kitchen as I just love how they all look. My property manager was absolutely impressed on how professional they looked and couldn't believe that I did the install myself.AND NO, IM not a handyman type person, I just use my gut and follow direction. Full transparency, the first one I installed wasn't fun. But I took internal notes of what I did and what I could do to make it easier to install on my other two windows. First window took me 45 minutes, the other two took me 30 minutes total to install. I figured out a method and it actually worked flawlessly. IM about to order my 4th set of blinds from this company.For what its worth, these were the most affordable blinds in this wood faux style I found on amazon, for the price of 1 blind on other sellers page, I was able to spend that same amount and get 3 from this seller. All 3 arrived the day before they were expected, and thankfully nothing was cracked, chipped or broken in shipment. They were packed pretty efficiently and came separately in 3 boxes.FOR FIRST TIME DYI buyers, MY only feedback request from the seller is to have an install video on YOUTUBE, because even though the directions are pretty clear, some of us are visual people and need to see how something is done so when the directions are read, it makes better sense. Had there been a video tutorial, it would have only taken me 15 minutes to install the first one and not 45 mins.I also got my blinds to fit and sit inside my window frame, and not outter.

Perfect fit, looks fantastic, durable, easy to roll up and down, great price, easy to install! I will be buying them for every room in our home!

Have two 52"x48" windows in my apartment and found these in the right size in a dark colored faux wood I wanted to keep out the light after having the cheap thin white ones for years. They keep the light out good and everything thing works fine and they look Okay. But-- the mounting screws were really low quality with really thick heads, so if they were slightly off, not being put in perfectly straight, they'd impede mounting the blinds. Practically every other screw stripped out, had to get a screw socket to get most of them back out by hand cuz of them stripping, they were about 1 1/4" screws too so some of them was hitting something hard beyond the wood frame and wouldn't go in. I went and bought a box of 3/4" dry wall screws and that solved the problem. First window took three hours fighting with the screws provided, and taking them out mostly by hand, and then using the drywall screws. The second window took around 15-20 minutes using the screws I bought. So blinds-Good. Provided Mounting screws- don't even bother. Took a star off for the screws, otherwise everything would have been perfect on these blinds. EDIT:-- Had these less than two months and had this set in my bedroom that were closed since I installed them. Was driving by my place on my motorcycle and noticed something wrong with them from the outside (Have curtains in front of them that are also closed on the inside). Anyways they were warped on both sides already. My Apt. has central air and the windows don't get hot, my living room set are good though, so something about leaving them closed all the time caused it? Anyways, they sent me a new set and wasn't a problem dealing with them once I found out how to contact them...

These blinds are completely worth it. I've had cheaper blinds in the past that didn't work so I decided to purchase these after reading reviews and have been satisfied ever since. I've had mine for a few months and there's no wear and tear. I am purchasing more for my kids rooms. I recommend these every time I hear someone needs to order blinds.

These blinds look great and seem to be quality…however, the directions are not in the package. We finally found installation info on line. It took a bit putting them up.
