I love my Kraft 8 oz. bag - it holds a quart of my granola and am wanting something that will hold a pint. Can you give me any information?

A flat iron does work. Make sure there is no steam coming out though. I found that out the hard way.

Does anyone know how long these keep coffee fresh? I’m looking for no more than 6 weeks

If you seal the bags with a hot iron, the maximum potential "freshness" will be sealed in while still allowing the excess Co2 to degas. But freshly roasted coffee should be consumed within a month if you are worried about freshness.
