She learned to skate in a couple weeks and has worn them to the roller rink a few times now. They seem to work fine at the roller rink. All in all, I am happy with their performance. The only downside is that they are not real leather (which I knew, of course), and being completely enclosed, feet can't breathe but sweat. Socks absorb the smell of the synthetic components the skates are made from. Maybe the manufacturer should add some small holes for air circulation or use an insert that will wick away moisture? If anyone has any ideas about an insert that successfully wicks away moisture, I would be interested to hear them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love them! *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2014* Santa brought these for my 6 year old. She had these on from 3am Christmas morning, until well into the evening. Even took naps in them!! She wore them around the house for days and days. By the time we went to the rink she's was skating on her own without clinging to the side rail as she had been doing. What a boost of confidence! I did order a size up based on other postings/recommendations. They fit great with room to grow. I'm no expert in roller skates, but I am a picky mom and I think the quality is great, she's worn these for hours and hours, been to the rink countless times and they are holding up great. Would highly recommend for your little disco skating diva too! She'll be so excited and have so much more fun going to the rink and actually skating with the other kids rather than being embarrassed and hanging on to the rails. Fun times from childhood along with seeing neighbors' little ones skating brought back good memories.
