This biography will appeal to younger readers and teens and covers David Bowie's life in both graphic novel format, and in text format with photos from his life. Bright, colorful and an enjoyable read.

Excellent look at Bowie’s life
An excellent graphic novel from this series. Admittedly some of the artwork is hit and miss. But they have got the essence of David Bowie spot on ! And if you didn’t know much about him this book is a great place to start. From his early struggles in the 60’s to Ziggy and superstardom in 1972. And even more fame and fortune with let’s dance in 1983 ! But it doesn’t shy away from his flops with the Tin machine in the 90’s or his various film projects like merry Christmas mr Lawrence. It’s all here ! A treat from any Bowie fan.

An interesting mess...
Every chapter is by a different artist, and I'm willing to bet that some of them had no idea of what the characters they were illustrating looked like. Subtract another point for the lack of proofreading ("Lou Rood" may be the funniest). Did make me want to go listen to Bowie again.
