Car stereo
Love this. It operates similar to a phone. Great sound. Toyota Isis zgm10 2012 vehicle. Value for money. Lets see how long it functions properly. I just had to get side brackets to hide the sides and look good.

Shockingly Good Head Unit That Feels Like a Tablet in Your Dash
This head unit arrived quickly. Inside the box is pretty much everything needed for installation. You get the radio itself, two trim rings depending on how flush or chunky you want the install to look, the main wiring harness, CANBUS harness, external WiFi antenna, backup camera, external microphone, USB adapters, and a surprisingly decent user manual. (It also has a VERY in-depth user manual built into the OS, NEAT!) First thing worth noting is that this unit is fully touchscreen controlled. No physical buttons, no volume knob, and no remote control. If you hate touchscreens, this may not be your thing. Personally, after using it for a bit, the responsiveness makes up for that pretty quickly. Initial startup takes a little longer during first time setup, which is expected with Android based units. Once configured though, boot times are extremely fast. Sub ten seconds consistently, which is honestly impressive. Now here is where things get interesting. On paper, the hardware specs sound unimpressive. A 2GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration is generally considered entry level for Android devices. Normally that would raise concerns about lag, slow menus, and frustration. Somehow, this thing avoids all of that. The interface is genuinely snappy and responsive. Menus move quickly, apps launch without hesitation, and touch response is excellent. A huge reason for that is how Android Auto and Apple CarPlay work. Once connected, your phone is doing most of the heavy lifting. The head unit essentially becomes a very high-quality display and interface, while your phone provides the processing power. The result is an experience that feels much faster than the hardware specs would suggest. And speaking of the display… This screen is phenomenal. The 1280x720 IPS panel is bright, vibrant, and incredibly sharp. Colors pop, text is crisp, and viewing angles are excellent. It genuinely looks like someone mounted a large modern smartphone directly into the dashboard. No weird ghosting, no streaking, no washed-out colors. Just a clean, responsive, high-quality display that looks far more expensive than it is. Audio tuning options are also surprisingly deep. There is a full DSP setup with detailed EQ controls, seating position adjustments, crossover tuning, speaker configuration options, and subwoofer controls. For audio enthusiasts, this is a massive bonus and something rarely found at this price point. Connectivity is excellent too. Full pre-outs including dedicated subwoofer output, audio and video inputs, Bluetooth 5.0, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and camera support make this thing incredibly versatile. One feature that genuinely stood out was the built in cooling fan management. Yes, you can actually control fan behavior directly through the GUI. RPM settings, temperature activation points, and shutdown thresholds are all adjustable. That is the kind of feature you usually only see buried inside much higher end equipment. Another thoughtful feature is separate screen brightness memory for day and night modes. You can independently tune daylight brightness and dimmed nighttime brightness, and it remembers the settings perfectly. Small detail, huge quality of life improvement when driving at night. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay work flawlessly. Connection is quick, stable, and seamless. No fighting with menus or reconnecting every time you start the vehicle. Overall, this thing is an absolute monster for the price. Excellent display quality, responsive performance, deep audio tuning, tons of connectivity, and genuinely useful features make it feel far more premium than expected. Honestly, if it were waterproof, it would already be mounted in an off road rig somewhere getting abused daily. Easy recommendation.

Decent product at a fair price
Works well. A little quirky to set up for AirPlay but once you connections seamless thereafter. Unless someone else links up. Then it’s kind of difficult to get mine back. Overall though a good value for the price.

Ok for the money
The touch buttons along the left side (power, volume, etc.) are not very responsive at all. It has a feature that shows your speed, I’m not sure if it’s able to be calibrated or what because out of the box it’s off by at least 10mph over my actual speed. Otherwise it works reasonably well for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Built in Software is a little weird to navigate to menu for CarPlay/Android Auto. Be nice if it were more simple. Screen is bright and has good aesthetics. Backup camera works good.

Double Din Car Stereo
I installed this in an older vehicle that desperately needed an upgrade. The larger screen and smartphone integration made everyday driving much more convenient. Directions, music and calls are all easier to manage from one place. The menu layout was easy to learn after a short period of use. Touch response felt consistent and switching between apps did not feel sluggish. Bluetooth connected quickly with my phone and stayed connected during drives. Adding something like this can make the interior feel years newer

Fantastic screen.. The rest is O.K.
7 Inch Double Din Car Stereo with Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto IPS Touchscreen | AHD Backup Camera | FM/AM Tuner | MirrorLink | GPS Navigation | Car Audio Receiver (7-Inhc-Double-Din).Brand: ApexNav Great replacement/upgrade for older cars with a standard, double DIN, dash mount. This infotainment system, really is a major upgrade from the factory radios found in older vehicles. The enhanced functionality is made that much better, by the modernized look of this thing, by transforming the interior of your vehicle. This infotainment system has a 7-inch 1280×720 QLED touchscreen. The image produced is incredible: Stunning colors, high contrast, bright enough to see clearly on a bright sunny day. The split screen function is available, but a little awkward on the small screen. The touch response is great...fast too. The multi-tasking abilities, with Android 13 and only 2GB of RAM, will be a bit limited, but, manageable. As long as you close un-needed APPs and keep an eye on APP background processes, that run, even when you are not using the APP, this infotainment system should still perform very good. There is 32GB of ROM...storage space For APPs, data and other files. with such a small amount of RAM I advise keeping your personal files (movies, books, pics, music....) on external drives, plugged into the units USB-A ports. This allows the system to use the available ROM to enhance the RAM...giving you better performance. Different APPs use different resources. The installation is very easy. Please note that this is a "universal" wiring kit. There are "pig-tail" plugs for the infotainment system, but, no plugs for your specific vehicle...you will either have to, separately, *1* purchase a pre-configured wiring harness adapter, *2* purchase a set of "pig-tail" plugs that matches your vehicle harness, that you will have to splice to the provided infotainment system "pig-tail," or *3* directly splice into your existing vehicles wiring harness. The very budget friendly price of this unit reflects this additional expense/labor. The system is very well documented in regards to the wiring inputs and outputs available/required. The sound and associated adjustments are on par with the old factory radio. No real upgrade there. This is louder than the old factory radio...not enough for you? There are RCA outputs that you can use to add external amps...even a separate sub-woofer output. You get both AM and FM tuners that have great reception. There are plenty of pre-sets and auto-scan to find stations and populate them quickly when traveling. CarPlay & Android Auto connected fast and functioned great...voice controls were very responsive. WIFI@5G, Bluetooth 5.0, Mirror Link and Airplay all worked well to integrate my smartphone with this system. The GPS Navigation works great both Off-line and On-line: Once the offline map data is down-loaded. If you would prefer, you can, of course, download your favorite navigation APP from the Android Market, to use in place of the pre loaded in one...at least, when you have an internet connection. The system does not require you to be online. The remote mic is way better for calls than the built in one. It also supports a back-up camera (included.) If your vehicle already has one, then it should work on this unit...if not then you will have to use the one provided. Overall: A very good, very affordable system that adds soo much functionality to your vehicle while looking fantastic. That QLED screen is why I gave this five stars...functionally I'd only give it 4 stars.

Great quality product!!
This 7-inch Double Din head unit is a modern infotainment upgrade designed to bring 2026-level connectivity to older vehicles. While factory stereos are often locked into proprietary, outdated software, this unit runs on a full Android 13 operating system. This allows it to function like a tablet for your dashboard, supporting standalone apps from the Play Store while offering seamless "Wireless CarPlay" and "Android Auto" for your smartphone. The 1280x720 HD IPS screen is the standout feature. Most budget 7-inch stereos use standard TFT displays that wash out when viewed from an angle or in sunlight; an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel ensures that both the driver and passenger see vivid colors and crisp text regardless of the seating position. Choosing a unit with an AHD (Analog High Definition) backup camera is a smart move, as it provides a significantly clearer and wider image than the grainy standard-definition cameras usually bundled with aftermarket radios.

Nice upgrade from old turn nob radio
I will be honest with you, this 7” Double Din Car Stereo is WAY above my pay grade. I was hoping this was a plug and play unit but of course it isn’t. I’m not electronically or mechanically minded so I had to get a friend to step in to help. The unit arrived yesterday and we just HAD to install it right away. This unit comes with so many parts and pieces that you need to ensure you have room to set everything out and you use the User Manual that’s included to install it. It definitely is an upgrade to the plain radio that was in my 2015 work van. You need to use an app on your cell but this radio gives me the ability to answer calls, set up a GPS, and it interacts with the back up camera my friend installed months ago on the van. The 7” touchscreen is quite generous for ease of using and viewing compared to NO screen on the radio we just replaced with this one in the van. We installed it yesterday and my friend is still talking about how impressed he is with the quality of the product. He did have to get some type of kit that helped him fit the unit in the dash so make sure you check before starting that everything you need for your specific vehicle is in the box the unit comes in. The sound is decent, picture is good, touch screen is really nice to have. There is a learning curve with this unit as it is very different from the old turn knob radio. All in all this is a good value for the price.
