Ultrafine Unicolor C-41 Powder Developer Kit (2 Liter)

This is a critique of quality control in place at Unicolor. The inner packet of stabilzer was not sealed on one side, scattering the chemical throughout the package. Thankfully the stabilizer is the smallest quantity of the 4 packets included (about a tablespoon)Unfortunately the stabilizer is also the stinkiest (something like rotten fish)

I've mixed some of this back in February 2018 (it's now June), and this is still working just fine after about 5 or six runs.A lot of what I've read online has suggested these last pretty much forever until they need to be remixed again, and I'd recommend this for anyone looking in to doing color processing at home. Since I do a lot of 120 and 4x5 photos, and don't feel like mailing them out, this actually saves me money just by doing two runs of four 4x5 sheets compared to the $88 dollars total it would cost to mail them to California to have them develop them for me out there.

Unicolor has always been a good photo product and this kit is also a good starter for doing color photography . I do photography for a living and hobby and color film and printing is a lot of fun and is much better than digital photography because batteries are not required in film and paper and color give better results because one is using silver and using silver to produce color images. You can recycle the chemicals to recover the silver from the processed films. Kodak was recycling 70 percent of the silver from their processing labs which helped to reduce waste and keep the price of silver down.

Easy to use, nice results. I divided it in half and have processed 8 rolls of 35mm with excellent results.

This product works very well, can't wait to take more pictures. Not hard to use and very forgiving
