This salt grinder mill is worth every penny, operates smoothly.

Lasted until it needed a refill of salt. Unfortunately the metal top screw cap could not be removed. I suspect that the salt contributed to it corroding and fusing with the center metal shaft. I tried penetrating liquid and a partial disassembly where I could place a socket on the bottom of the center shaft and a vise grip on the top. All I succeeded in doing was twisting the shaft until it snapped. I strongly suggest that the metal parts be made of material that resists corrosion, like stainless steel.Their matching pepper mill is fine, but this is not recommended.

Using this lighter colored mill as a salt mill. Love how adjustable the grind is - from super fine to coarse - and how well it does the job!

We purchased this product to compliment our pepper mill. I was hoping that it would have metal interior components; however, it has plastic. For this particular reason, I am still considering sending the product back. It looks nice and as depicted. It contained some salt upon arrival which was loose in the mailer envelope.

Very high quality product-as you would expect from it being made in Germany- works well, excellent finish, 25 year-warranty.Pricey? yes, a bit.Worth it? absolutely.Cons? As with very mill of that design, there might be a little bit of salt falling out of the bottom when you set it down. If you want to avoid that, get one that's upside-down...

I would not recommend this item if you have to watch your sodium intake. Cannot control how fast the salt comes out.

Artikel einwanfrei. Spitzenqualität! Ich hätte als Hersteller im unteren Bereich von der Seite einen kleinen Metallstift oder Metallknopf angebracht, damit die Mühle, sollte sie einmal umkippen, nicht vom Tisch rollen kann.

Diese Salzmühle ist wirklich sehr schön, wirkt qualitativ ansprechend und liegt gut in der Hand. Absolut zu empfehlen. Auch als Pfeffermühle erhältlich.

Mit dem Kauf bin sehr zufrieden, Tolles Produkt, sieht gut aus, ist auch gut verarbeiten, der Mahlwerk ist Super. Also 5 Sterne.
