Another reviewer mentioned an aftertaste, I'd say I noticed a curry type smell, probably due to spices/herbs in the formula but I also have many allergies and sensitivities but didn't have a problem with this (or any Dr Christopher products) myself. I am pleased I found these on Amazon as I bought this product previously elsewhere and it shipped from the US, so cost much more and I had to wait longer.I was suffering really badly with upper stomach pain, especially after eating, that almost put me off wanting to eat altogether! After about ten days of taking this, my pain was greatly reduced and although I get a twinge still after eating, my stomach is in peace the rest of the time - which is a huge change. I mistakenly thought I might be 'cured' and after finishing the bottle I didn't buy more. My symptoms slowly crept back and I now think I'll not stop taking them again in a hurry. Personally I find Dr Christopher products really good and efficacious and my only reason for saying so is my personal experience. I also take 'quick colon' twice a day with meals and that has helped me with another problem I no longer have. If they indeed have a smell or taste, don't let that put you off finding relief I'd say.

The herbs might be very good and I've read the great reviews but the capsule shells taste of a strong chemical and leave a horrible after taste. I have multiple chemical sensitivities so I can't take them! I've thought of emptying out the capsules and put them in other empty ones but the herb powder will be contaminated with whatever's in the capsule shells, either an ingredient or a chemical used in the processing. Waste of money for me!
