Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, 128GB, Space Black - Locked to T-Mobile (Renewed)

If you are reading this, you are probably in the market for an iPhone (like i was), and just want to verify 1) the price; and 2) the quality of these used 3rd party iPhones. So let's take a look at my decision process: Why the 14 Pro Max? - 14: I always buy one generation behind because it is usually at a 40+% discount, and the 14 is very similar to the 15 in terms of aesthetic and performance. 13 lags a little in these two categories and isn't at a proportional discount, so the 14 makes perfect sense. - Pro: offers everything the base models offer and so much more. Camera, performance, battery... everything is better with the Pro - Pro Max: costs ~70-100$ more than the base depending on the market. Only recommend if you want the larger screen/battery. My experience: Bought from a 3rd party seller. My phone came with very minor scratches along the edges that take my entire focus to notice. Battery health was at 98%. Phone runs perfectly otherwise. If I am unsatisfied for any reason, Amazon allows returns within 90 days no questions asked. There is essentially no risk buying Amazon renewed and even if you are worried, renewed premium at +50-80$ more will give you a 1 year warranty. I highly recommend!

Just don't buy it. it was going well for me for a few months when all of a sudden the phone got stuck on sos. I waited on the line to call my service provider and they said that they can't do anything about it because "the original owner needs to come in contact with the service provider and unblock the phone". So basically, you buy it, and you are pretty much guaranteed to not be able to use it as a phone, and there is nothing you can do about it. I can't even get a refund for this useless piece of junk and even with me connected to wi-fi I can't create new contacts... never buy a phone from here.

I honestly don’t get why anyone buys a brand new iphone. This refurbished phone is awesome! I could detect absolutely no damage to the screen or to the rest of the phone. The battery charges fast and all the way to 100% and holds the charge as well as I think it should. You can feel confident in making this purchase.

This is storage capacity, good function and hasn’t let me down yet. I’ve actually texting from this phone still so I would recommend this.

Phone is in excellent condition. battery 99% health and close to zero scratches on phone. speakers were a little dirty. listed as a t-mobile phone and came in as a t-mobile phone. great purchase

Make sure your phone is unlocked! I was able to use mine for a year through a prepaid service called mint. But when I tried transferring my phone to my wife who uses AT&T it wouldn’t work because the phone is still locked with T-Mobile. T-Mobile said they could not unlock it because the account is closed and has a T-Mobile said they could not unlock it because the account is closed and has an outstanding balance. The only other option for me is to pay a third-party to unlock it, which can be expensive. Since I’ve had the phone for over 3 months I am unable to even contact customer service. There are no links to contact them and my phone is no longer listed as an order that even qualifies for customer service. It has been impossible for me to contact a human through any means. It has been very frustrating. I hope this helps someone else avoid the headache that I’ve been through.

Phone is in good condition not excellent as described. No cracks or flaws but agree with other reviews battery life is 80% For an excellent condition it should be closer to 100 or at least above 90. My other phone I’ve had for 3 years is at the same battery life. Should describe better. Other than that phone is good. Not excellent just good.

Receive the box open the box, reviewed the phone at the same time. I went to go, put the layover glass and noticed that it was broken before removing it out of its own packaging.

Très bon téléphone et en excellent état pour un reconditionné. On croirait un neuf ! Attention toutefois il vous faudra une e-sim.

ATTENTION!!! Achat le 4/11.On a remarqué un problème de tactile (blocage du tactile régulié). On a renvoyé le téléphone bien emballé avec du papier bulle (je précise que le câble de chargement ne fonctionnait pas non plus). résultat des courses arrivé chez le vendeur cassé on nous accuse de ne pas avoir emballé le téléphone correctement et que les choques dans la boîte avec le câble on cassé l'arrière du telephone preuve à l'appui ; un photo de l'arrière du téléphone, boîte ouverte déballé... Donc on a payé la réparation de l'arrière du téléphone. Aujourd'hui téléphone de nouveau reçus avec 120€ de paiement en plus pour cette réparation. Écran apparement réparé mais finalement le tactile beug (pas de blocage mais fonctionne au ralenti). Pour finir la batterie est 88% de vie cependant après 1h20 d'appel 50% de batterie en moins. Super!!!

Je viens de recevoir mon iPhone 14 Pro Max je tiens à remercier ceux superbe vendeur d’une gentillesse et d’un sérieux et une superbe livraison j’ai reçu iPhone reconditionné en excellent état il neuf neuf neuf je peux pas mieux vous dire écran comme je le voulais d’origine pour pouvoir garder le oled 120htz pro Motion une pépite aucune rayure nulle part on dirai qu’il sort de chez Apple batterie neuve à 100%. Superbement emballé dans un immense papier bulle et en prime une superbe coque en silicone de très bonne qualité voilà je remercie vraiment ceux superbe vendeur bravo dû sérieux je recommande à 10000%%%%

This was packaged well and looks very nice, is big and a bit weighty but worth the money and it has a lovely camera, works well my son loves it

Initially, the phone worked without issue, but shortly afterwards, it began repeatedly displaying “No SIM” and “SIM Failure” errors. I took the device to an independent third-party repair shop for assessment. They informed me that the iPhone contained a US-spec logic board configured exclusively for E-SIM use, despite the phone casing being designed for a physical SIM tray. According to the technician, the device could not properly read a physical SIM because the logic board was hard-coded for E-SIM functionality only. The repair shop further explained that devices like this are commonly referred to as “Frankenstein” iPhones, phones assembled from mismatched or incompatible parts during poor-quality refurbishment. They advised that this appeared to be the case here, and they couldn't do anything for me but advised I ask for a refund. I contacted the seller and returned the phone along with the repair report detailing the issue. Despite being provided with the report, photographic evidence, and screenshots showing the repeated SIM errors, the seller claimed there was “no fault” with the device and instead attempted to charge me a £30 administration fee. Cheeky! Why would I return an unfaulty phone to pay them an extra £30? I also asked the seller directly to clarify which logic board was installed in the phone, but they declined to answer, which increased my concerns about the refurbishment's legitimacy. For anyone considering buying from this seller: I am not claiming that every phone they sell is faulty. However, based on my experience, some devices clearly are, and the company appears unwilling to acknowledge legitimate faults or provide refunds even when presented with independent technical evidence, with multiple photos proving the point. Silver lining in all this, I learnt a lot about iPhone logic boards.
