Great Tire for my KLR 650
I have been running this model tire for 5 years now on my 1991 KLR 650. The first one I purchased new and achieved nearly 8,000 before it started to cup. When I replaced it with a new K270, it was still very rideable, but I like my tires to be in good shape. If one wanted to run them down the wear bars, I suspect the tire would be rideable up to 10,000-11,000 miles. The tire does excellent on a heavily loaded down bike on both tarmac and dirt. I can't believe how they hold the corners on asphalt, even when I am running all the way up the side lugs. They are okay in muddy conditions, but really shine on damp or dry dirt roads or trails. In my opinion, this is one of the best performing tires for the price available on the market.

21x3.0 Works Great on a Sur Ron Killah Fork After Trimming Knobs.
So, I ride a little bit of street and a little bit more off-road. After trying 4 other tires I finally am happy with these! They seem to hold up great to streets and they give me a good amount of grip off-road. Of course it's not as grippy as some super knobby tires but for my riding, I think it's a great fit. NOTE: On my Sur Ron front fork - a Killah fork - I did have to trim the side knobs to get it not to rub on the sides. It still turns great though. I mean the amount I trimmed was maybe 2mm on each side so it was minimal. Anyway, love them! I think I'll stick with these for a long time before I switch them out :) The only thing I wish was different: I wish it was easier to tell when they are seated. For the longest time I thought they were not seating correctly until I took the tire off and realized that that's just how they look - there's no real apparent lip that will stick out like you'd see on many other tires. Regardless though, it does seem to stick well - I haven't noticed any slipping or anything.

Enough for dual sport rides and no annoying road humming on paved roads.
Good wearing tire at a great price for dual sport bikes.

Tire Choice is everything... DanSr.1
With dozens of tires to choose from, I wanted med-soft compound, adventure tread pattern and radius for my Classic Bultaco Alpina for on-off road riding.... This is prefect!

Good tire for the price
This is my 3rd set, I am happy with the performance and wear for a mid range tire. I pretty hard on my tires, use them off road and does okay in sand/washouts with low pressure15-20, and I found that on the road up to 32PSI works well for tire wear and ride ability. I also recommend ceramic beads in the tube instead of traditional balancing, I'm getting a good 10-20% more life out of the tire.

DR 650 Front Tire
Used for a DR 650 front tire. I always have a spare. Super heavy duty. I never get flats. I do recommend.

Not a very long lasting tire but still a good choice
This is the second time I've purchased this tire for my XT250 enduro. Or perhaps I should say that this is the second front tire I've purchased in the time it's taken for the matching rear tire to wear out. That may give you an idea of how much faster the front is apt to wear out as compared to the rear - or at least in my case where I use the bike approximately 70% on-road. I tried switching to a front tire that was more suitable to that kind of riding - a tire geared more toward on-road use - but it was scary to use off-road. I missed the grip that these Kendas offer. I decided to come back to this one - even if it means having to replace it soon. What can I say? It's a great, grippy tire. It's the perfect combination for on and off-road use. It doesn't last long if you use it a lot on the pavement but hey, it's not expensive either.
