Perfetti - Van Melle Lakritz-Toffee - 3x41gF

My previous negative review pertained to a bookseller who sent damaged merchandise.This liquorice caramel candy arrived fresh and delicious at my home.This company is very invested in sending good products and they back it up with excellent customer service.

Seriously, this stung my nostrils while chewing. I feel like I've been poisoned. Returning or burning. This stuff is so gross. No taste of licorice or toffee. Their expiration date is in 2025.

I wish these companies that put Toffee on their packages would really sell Toffee Licorice. I really thought my Germany would get this right, but they didn't. I am having the hardest time finding the Duplicate to Callard & Bowers and some of these companies have used deceptive Reviews to say they are the same thing and they are not. This might be good for others but it's definitely not what I thought it would be and I am a Licorice Lover.

This is soooo delish. Anyone saying it’s too salty.. or not liquorish does not truly know about these.They often sell out in Europe due to their popularity. This is not that American gross plastic liquorish.I hope they are back in stock soon. I need more 😀

salty aftertaste

I was excited to try these as I grew up as a kid with C&B licorice - this to me isn’t even close. I threw them away. I will stick with Walkers Nonsuch Licorice. That is the closest I have found to the C&B licorice of yesteryear.

These aren’t quite the Callard & Bowser licorice toffees of yesteryear (none of them are, of course), but I found them to be a reasonable substitute. As ever, it’d be lovely if they’d be a bit firmer.

I believe it was a bit salty and not sweet and was not what I expected. I prefer another brand
