Came just in time for the SoCal rains. Firstly, the packaging is excellent. It not only is delivered in the Amazon shipping box, but it comes in it's own sturdy very well designed brown "triangle" box, so double protection for shipping, and impressive initial presentation. I then knew this would be a quality umbrella. However, "silly me" thought this was a auto open umbrella, so I wasn't sure how to open it, but when I realized and remembered it wasn't, it was really easy to open. It is auto close and "inverted" which is great for staying dry when closing and shows it's design on the outside when carrying closed. The "C" handle will hook over your wrist, a belt band or purse handle making it really convenient to be hands free if needed.
