My biggest realization reading this book is how adding a completely new data source into a world of already-mature tech (cloud services, LTE, mobile computing, security) truly translates into a modern day gold rush. Like most drone enthusiasts (assumably) my early interest in drones were the features of each platform. My belief is that drones will likely commoditize quickly once their platform features standardize. The data and the tools that the drones produce are the 'gold' (3D modeling, ortho/photo-mosaics, construction, mining, marketing) , not the hardware lol. I'm very happy with my decision to pick up this book! Review: Essential to anyone considering starting a business involving drones - Seriously good book, I already own my own business but wanted to branch out into Drones, excellent book for new and experienced entrepreneurs, don’t miss this one if you are serious about starting your own Drone business.

Excellent resource
I have been increasingly interested in drone technology since it started exploding a few years ago. My biggest realization reading this book is how adding a completely new data source into a world of already-mature tech (cloud services, LTE, mobile computing, security) truly translates into a modern day gold rush. This book is practically useless to me. Very little on actually starting a drone flying business. Wast of time and money.

I loved this little gem about the booming drone industry!
The drone business is already very competitive. I want to gain every advantage possible. Starting with this book! If you are or, want to be a Drone Entrepreneur then this is the book for you. I own my own business and know how difficult it is to get through the startup phase, I have added Drones to my business portfolio and have found Drone Start-up 101 to be filled with invaluable ideas.

Misleading title
This book is not tailored for starting up a Drone business but rather covers some fundamentals for starting up any business. While I respect the intentions of the Author(s), the content does not match my expectations with the title and synopsis described on Amazon. Returning for a refund.
