Good bag for the price, but the "for the price" part is key.
This bag is quite a bit nicer than I expected. A few key features I do like: 1. Having a separate zippered compartment at the bottom is great for storing things you wouldn't want to have with everything else. It is not big enough for my shoes, but for a small women's shoe size or children's shoes would fit nicely. Putting a damp rolled up towel in the compartment was pretty convenient. 2. The drawstring for the top of the bag is sturdy, separate from the straps, and has a toggle system to hold it closed. 3. There is a separate waterproof pocket that hangs inside the bag. It probably wouldn't hold up to dripping wet items, but for something damp or just dirty it's great for keeping it separated from what else is in the bag. 4. The outer material of the bag is thicker than I expected, and looks very nice. The design of the bag is sleek and looks great. Now on to a few critiques of the bag: 1. The mesh pockets on the outside of the bag might be large enough to hold some waterbottles, but not the one I typically carry. They hold a 16oz disposable water bottle or a standard can pretty well, but larger 20oz disposable water bottles or any sort of re-usable water bottle is unlikely to fit. 2. There is no internal structure for the bag beyond a very thin, quite cheap, piece of fabric between the bottom zip pocket and the main compartment. There is no phone or accessory pockets on the sides of the bag or even structure to keep the bottom compartment open without shoes inside. The bottom compartment curves up and looks nice when not filled at least. 3. The straps are rather thin, but much better than some of the bags that have more of a shoestring or spaghetti style strap. Carrying anything heavy in the bag would be an issue for comfort. I would absolutely get this bag for quick trips to the beach or the gym, or an afternoon out where minimal take-along baggage is needed.

Perfect, Well-Made
It's perfect... Does NOT smell funny (which is so great, especially since the other one I received at the same time, does!) Big enough for my daughter's sleeping bag and pillow (rolled up), and still room for her shoes at the bottom. Works great for the reason I got it. She uses it to go work out too. She likes it

A decent drawstring backpack for the price
If you are looking for a decent drawstring backpack at a fair price, this may be the right bag for you. I have several drawstring bags and have used them for lots of purposes, and this is what I like about this backpack – - It is lightweight. There is not a bunch of unnecessary hooks, pockets, or zippers to weigh this down. Having said that, I don’t think this is the right backpack for books or electronics. The material is thin and there isn’t any padding. I will use this strictly for gym clothes or when I want something other than a purse. - My favorite feature of this backpack is the adjustable straps on the back. Most drawstring backpacks I have used have cords instead of true straps. Cords will always start to dig into my shoulders and rarely are they adjustable, so the bag never sits quite right. This bag solves both those problems. - The material is waterproof. I live in the Pacific Northwest and waterproof is essential. - The center compartment is very large. I can fit everything I normally carry in my purse, plus a light jacket, hat, and umbrella. Using the drawstrings, it is easy to get in and out of the bag. - The shoe compartment is nice and is a good way to keep anything else in the backpack clean. My shoes fit fine (women’s size 5) but large shoes may not fit as well. The only downside of using shoe compartments is that when full it takes away from the space in the main compartment. This is true with most bags though, so I am not taking off a star. - The side pockets are deep and can be used for more than just a water bottle (keys, chap stick, hand sanitizer). However, when the backpack was full, I was not able to fit a large Stanley cup in the side pocket. I could still fit a basic 16oz plastic bottle though. - I really like the price. These things can get expensive, so it is nice to find one with so many features and still be affordable. Overall, when considering the price point, this is a nice basic backpack and ideal for hauling around dirty gym clothes. The material seems strong enough to get tossed around a bit without ripping. The adjustable straps are a big bonus.

Ehh It’s Fine
While this drawstring style bag is functional and at a very budget price, it’s pretty low down on the quality bar even for drawstring bags. It comes with a few additional “features” that a standard “single pocket” drawstring doesn’t have, but not sure the quality makes up for it. I put this about on par with a freebie bag you may get from a giveaway or as a promo item from like a convention - cheap and won’t last long. I’ll start with my first complaint, the zippers. They are awful and half the time I spend literally 2-3 minutes trying to get them to close. I’m actually surprised they haven’t fully broken off yet or just become permanently stuck with how frequently they cause me a pain the neck. That alone has stopped me from using this. The material itself is fine and feels cheap and doesn’t feel like it’ll last all that long. It’s also kinda weird how the top is closed by separate bungee straps than with the shoulder straps like a normal drawstring. It has it pros, but also just find it somewhat annoying and not as quick access as the standard drawstring bag. As far as pros go it does a few separated compartments which are great for additional organization and not something you normally see in a cheap drawstring. I do wish the interior pocket had some sort of closure (zipper or Velcro) instead of just being wide open, but it works. The straps are a nice upgrade from just rope as these lay flat and are much more comfortable than a normal drawstring. I really don’t see this lasting all that long but it will get the job done if you need a cheap and lowkey bag for whatever purpose.
